Shwan Askari is a Swiss composer and producer who has made a name for himself in the music industry. Shwan's career started as a producer and artist, with his music being featured at major events like Coachella, Tomorrowland, and Ultra Music Festival. He has also released music on major labels such as Warner Music, Universal Music, and Sony Music, amassing over 25 million streams on digital platforms and receiving coverage from reputable outlets like Billboard Magazine.
While his passion for pop and electronic music was strong, Shwan always had a desire to learn more about music and composition in a more formal setting. To fulfill his ambition, he pursued education in classical music and was fortunate enough to receive mentor-ship from some of the most respected and renowned educators in the field. This included Dr. Hannah Lash, a professor at Yale University's composition faculty, Dr. Jacques Desjardins, a music theory professor at the San Francisco Conservatory, and Mikhail Bogdanov, an orchestration professor at the prestigious Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory. To further his education, Shwan also enrolled in courses at Berklee Online and UCLA Extension in Los Angeles.
After all of these experiences, Shwan caught the attention of renowned film composer Tom Holkenborg, who mentored him in Los Angeles. Following his extensive training period, Shwan has quickly gained recognition for his work as a composer, writing additional music for studio features including Three Thousand Years of Longing directed by George Miller, Zack Snyder's Justice League, The 355 directed by Simon Kinberg, The Netflix Series Love Death and Robot - Swarm directed by Tim Miller, Army Of The Dead, White Lines, the HULU feature film "Grimcutty" and the video game "Skulls and Bones" by Ubisoft. You can also hear some of the sounds Shwan has designed in Godzilla vs. Kong, Scoob!, Sonic the Hedgehog and Terminator: Dark Fate.
