Biography

Dean Christensen was born in western North Dakota into a family of farmers that immigrated from Denmark in the 20th century. He graduated from the University of North Dakota with a degree in Geological Engineering. He worked as a Geologist over 30 years with career moves to California, Louisiana and Texas. He resides on a acreage in Central Texas, outside of Austin and San Antonio. He enjoys his free time working on his skid steer, enjoying the music scene and spending time outdoors.

Dean become involved in acting and film after he settled in Central Texas. After taking an acting workshop with Bentley Mitchum, grandson of Robert Mitchum, he gained a principal role on "Judgment", a western film. His most recent acting credits include award winning films, "The Ballad of Emma Wright" and "Touched".

He enjoys all aspects in the film industry, including acting, writing and producing. He is the executive producer / producer of a feature documentary, "The Real American" planned for distribution in late 2024.
