In January 2020, Vanessa Shapiro founded Nicely Entertainment. With over 20+ year experience in the TV distribution business, Vanessa will continue to bring quality TV movies and series to the worldwide market. Vanessa has an outstanding track record, experience and longstanding relationships with broadcasters and producers around the world. In January 2017, she had joined Gaumont as the President of Worldwide TV Distribution and co-production, where Vanessa oversaw Worldwide TV Sales & Distribution of Gaumont's TV catalog, Co-productions, Acquisitions, Digital Distribution and Marketing. During her tenure at Gaumont, Vanessa executive produced the upcoming Amazon Prime Original Series, El Presidente (8x1h). She also developed a dozen of drama TV Series as well as executive produced over 10 TV movies including A Merry Christmas Match (Hallmark), A Date by Christmas Eve (Lifetime) and Christmas a la mode (Lifetime). Fluent in both English and French, Vanessa started her career with a 10 year tenure at Sony Pictures Television in 1997 followed by a 10 year position at Marvista Entertainment.
