Ryan Dahl is an award-winning filmmaker and a co-founder of Maxxed Out Films based out of Southern Colorado. Born in Beaumont, California, Ryan Dahl joined the Army in 2018 and was soon stationed in Fort Carson, CO. From there, Ryan completed his Army contract and became a filmmaker and a regular competitor in Colorado Film Festivals.
In August of 2021, Ryan participated in the Denver 48 Film Project and helped create the short film "Maxxed Out", which went on to become the name of the film production company Maxxed Out Films which he co-runs alongside Brittany Marie and David Chavez.
Ryan has produced, directed, written, acted in, and otherwise assisted in over a dozen projects since beginning his filmmaking career in 2021. Between 2022 and 2023, Ryan and his team won Best Short Film, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Best SFX, Best Production Design, and multiple other awards at the Kickass Film Festival based in Pueblo, CO.
Ryan plans to attend film school at SCAD in Savannah, GA beginning in Fall of 2024.
