Katherine was born to an elementary school music teacher mother and a carpenter father, who built musical instruments out of their garage. Raised in the Pacific Northwest (without cable TV), she developed an affinity for fan fiction, creepy woods, community theatre, and sneaking downstairs to watch movies on their tiny basement TV.
Katherine is a Los Angeles-based actor, comedian and writer. In 2023, her one-woman show, "Grown Up Orphan Annie" premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where she received a Playbill Pick of the Fringe. She earned her BFA in Acting from Southern Methodist University (Bob Hope Acting Award). Upon graduation, she put down roots in Dallas and Chicago, where she worked in regional theatre and trained at the School at Steppenwolf.
