Cold Blood (2005–2008)
8/10
Great performances but fractured police procedural
7 December 2019
Brilliant performances. Jemma Redgrave (a credit to her dramatic family tree) and John Hannah transfuse their characters with unmistakable longing. Matthew Kelly (reknown to theatre and TV audiences but new to me) succeeded in creating a character that personified a sinister menace. The writing has an ongoing tension which, unfortunately, fractured the credibility boundaries, at times, by a sloppy handling of the police procedural. Yet, I sill give the series an 8 (great) out of 10. {Crime Thriller}
