The first 50 or so episodes were decent enough. But my god did it go downhill quickly. Pretty much EVERY characters were despicable, annoying, thickheaded, or always made the stupidest choices possible. Characters had almost zero development, make the same mistakes over and over again.
For instance, there were several love triangles, and of course the women married the one they didn't "actually love." Then it became cycles of cheating on husbands, got found out / regret, try to make up with husbands, cheating on husbands again. This show made the audience actively want bad things to happen to the main characters (deservedly so).
By far, Francisca and Eliza were the 2 most despicable main female characters that I have ever seen in a very long time. By the 200s episodes, my main reason to continue watching was to see if terrible things would (again, deservedly) happen to them.
It's disappointing because the beginning was quite promising. Unfortunately, the writers and show runners really messed up terribly.
