Matthew Staton Bomer was born in Webster Groves, Greater St. Louis, Missouri, to Elizabeth Macy (Staton) and John O'Neill Bomer IV, a Dallas Cowboys draft pick. Matt was raised in Spring, Texas, and educated at Klein High School, near Houston. After school, he attended Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Bomer then relocated to New York to forge a career in acting.

Prolific composer ("Manhattan Tower"), songwriter ("Goodbye"), conductor, arranger and author, educated in public schools and then a banjoist in orchestras and on radio in St. Louis, Missouri, then came to Hollywood in 1938 as music director for NBC and composer of scores for films, radio, and night club revues. Gregg has served as Supervising Director on Clash-A-Rama, The Maxx, Futurama, and Sit Down, Shut Up. In addition to his work as a Sequence Director on The Simpsons Movie, he has overseen the animation for numerous film and television projects such as Disenchantment, Futurama, Ren & Stimpy, Beavis & Butthead (Series & Feature), Powerpuff Girls (Series & Feature), Family Guy, Kim Possible, Stitch! The Movie, and several Looney Tunes theatrical shorts for Warner Bros.. Born Richard Clarence Parker in the small town of Webster, Massachusetts. Being the son of a Marine forced multiple relocations up and down the eastern seaboard in the early years. Once a teenager he found himself settled down in Oxford, Massachusetts, ironically less than 10 miles from where he was born. After graduating from Oxford High School he spent 2 years at Worcester State College. Finding no satisfaction there he then spent 4 years in the United States Air Force, the bulk of which in Idaho. Moving back to Massachusetts after an Honorable Discharge he worked as an electronic technician during the day, attending classes at Northeastern University at night. While pursuing a Degree in Electrical Engineering he enrolled in a drama class.
