She was born Sally Bliss in Carthage, New York. Her father had moved the family from Ohio and was a science teacher at Carthage High School. In 1927, the family moved to Amityville, Long Island. She attended drama school in Rhode Island and at age 17, she was invited to Hollywood by Howard Hughes, who she did not meet until about a year later. She signed with his studio and dated Hughes a few times as well. He also had her stage name changed to Carla Balenda and this is how she was credited until 1957, when she decided to change it back to her real name. Just before she was 19, she married a WWII pilot, John Martin, and they stayed together for fifteen years, having two boys from the union before divorcing in 1959. Six years later, she married prominent California attorney and author William Rutter, who wanted her to be home with her children. She left acting and later became involved in volunteer charity work. Her husband passed away in 2012. She has thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and as of 2021, she was residing in the Los Angeles suburb of Woodland Hills, California.- Writer

German film, TV and voice actor, the son of a senior insurance inspector. Dux took acting classes in Berlin under the tutelage of drama coach Else Bongers (1901-1993) and made his stage debut at the age of 22 at the Renaissance-Theater. On the screen from 1950, he first appeared as Fenton in an adaptation of Shakespeare's The Merry Wives of Windsor (1950). After that came featured supporting roles in Das Haus in Montevideo (1951) with Curt Goetz, the comedy Briefträger Müller (1953) with Heinz Rühmann and in the Defa-produced fantasy The Singing Ringing Tree (1957) (as the Handsome Prince). From the mid-60's, Dux (nicknamed 'Ecki') was primarily seen in made-for-TV movies and as a series guest actor. He became most popular in the guise of police officers, beginning with his young sergeant in the Francis Durbridge thriller Das Halstuch (1962), and, later, as one of the stars of Polizeifunk ruft (1966) and Hamburg Transit (1970) (in both series as Detective Superintendant Schlüter). Dux also had a recurring role as attorney Mike Rander in the humorous crime series Butler Parker (1972).
During the latter stages of his career, Dux became more actively involved as a narrator of radio plays and as a voice actor. He has been the regular German dubbing voice for Audie Murphy and Anthony Perkins. He has also synchronized for Ian McKellen (as Gandalf) in Peter Jackson's Hobbit-Trilogie, for Steve Martin in L.A. Story (1991) and Father of the Bride (1991) and for George Peppard in The A-Team (1983). Among many other thespians he has dubbed, are Michael Caine, Charles Dance, Peter O'Toole, Michael Gambon and Albert Finney.- Editor

Ezequiel's career began as an intern for producer Tova Laiter at Paramount Pictures for the movie Varsity Blues. Sujith Raj Kochukunju's realization to work in Malayalam cinema was not born out of a sudden whim or fancy. Born and raised in Dubai, He has been diligently crafting and mastering his skill from the age of 4.
He began training in Carnatic vocals and dance (Bharatnatyam) at kindergarten and showed sincere interest in acting from the age of six. He plays several percussion and string instruments, which he learned seamlessly by watching YouTube videos.Since his early age, He has bagged laurels in various youth festivals across the UAE.
