These are the stories of the three guys,three friends, living in a city in the south of Russia. In the course of a year they recorded their everyday lives with a small HDcam. This record is what comprises the movie and to what it is dedicated. Our heroes are eighteen years old and they live average lives: work, have parties and, fall in love. But finally they will have to make those most important of personal choices which will define their future.

In the summer of 2003, residents of the Russian city of Azov, along with activists from the organization Chraniteli Radugi and the anarchist federation Avtonomnoe Dejstvie, defended their right to a clean environment and fought against the construction of a methanol shipping port in their city. Environmental activists' campaigns in Russia are often ignored, but a two-month mass protest in Azov yielded positive results. The shipping port, although nearly completed, had to be reconfigured to accommodate the shipping of less dangerous goods.

14 October 1943: Jewish prisoners and Russian P.O.W. killed some Nazi guards in the infamous KZ Sobibór and organized a mass escape through the electrified barbed wire fence and minefields around the camp. Few of the escapees survived the war. One of them was the Dutch Jew Jules Schelvis (1921-2016). This documentary is based on the 18 hours of interview with 12 survivors which Schelvis recorded in the 80's with his little camera.
