- -Brigitte Francoeur returns to her hometown, Sainte-Alice-de-Rimouski (in Quebec, Canada), for her daughter Jade's wedding. The latter, who is 20 years old, was raised by Noémie, Brigitte's older sister and her husband. Noémie is also the director of the Centre Jeunesse L'Échappée. On the wedding day, Claudie Lyndsay, 14, and Greg Laplante, 16, ran away from the Centre. A few hours later, Agnes, one of their educators and Brigitte's childhood friend, was the victim of a terrible attack. The first suspicion is on Patrick Landry, Agnes' former partner, a man who has difficulty controlling his aggressiveness, and on the two runaways. Buried secrets then resurface. We discover that this small idyllic community, where everyone knows everyone, has an immense talent for keeping up appearances. The investigation to discover Agnes' aggressor may upset the small community in its foundations.
- -"Soirée canadienne" was a weekly Quebec television (in Canada) show broadcast every Saturday night, from 1960 to 1983, for 23 years, on Télé-7 (CHLT - Sherbrooke) and the Télé-Métropole network. The show was hosted by Louis Bilodeau. The one-hour program, with the theme of Quebecois (French-Canadian) folklore, was set against the backdrop of a typical Canadian house and recreated the universe of a vigil of yesteryear, articulated around performances of various orders (songs, gigues, dances, etc.) of its protagonists: the inhabitants of a given Quebec locality. The genius of Louis Bilodeau resided in this incredible capacity to relax the atmosphere and to let the forefront of common mortals, to replace the people as the engine of his own culture, playing a role both erased and acting of master of ceremonies.
