Well, I really like silent-movies. This one is very cool, or well, it has it's own charm, maybe people think it's impossible to get their hands on. but no. All you have to do is to 1. Live in the USA and buy the SPECIAL EDITION of "Heroes of the Alamo" "Davy Crockett at the fall at the Alamo is a special feature on that DVD, but only half of the movie approximately 35 min, this is because the rest of the film has been lost. That's a shame, but all the Alamo-material has survived and that is a relief. :) But then again. If you don't like silent-movies, then skip this one. OK? :)
Cullen Landis plays Davy Crockett. He is OK in the role, I guess, I may have to regret this, but I guess it was easier to play a role on silent films, than in modern movies, but he is OK as I said.
Now I just wait for DVD-releases of THE ALAMO - THIRTEEN DAYS TO GLORY (1987) FIRST TEXAN (1956) MAN OF CONQUEST (1939) ALAMO: PRICE OF FREEDOM (1988) and TWO FOR Texas (1998) Then I think I have all Alamo-movies that exist. :) I don't know why the "Alamo" fascinates me, but it does. :) Anyone know if there will be a release of some or all of this movies? Please let me know if it does! :) thanks! :)
