According to an item in The Hollywood Filmograph, director Lew Landers was an amateur aviator and used his lunch hours during filming to log hours. He had up to eight hours by the end of the shoot.
The scene of the airplane crash landing on the railroad tracks in Chapter: 12, is used again in Junior G-Men of the Air (1942) Chapter: 2.
