Woody Strode (1914-1994), a former college football player, makes his first appearance in a small role as a tribal policeman. He is best known today as a regular in John Ford films; and as the gladiator who battles Kirk Douglas in Spartacus (1960) (1960). He is one of the first four black men to break the color barrier in college football.
No major distributor has released it, but several small companies have. This film seems to be in the public domain, which means any distributor can legally sell copies without paying royalties. Beware. Some small distributors market copies of public domain films with poor picture and sound. Others are more reputable and deliver good transfers of the best available prints. Shop around.
