Although Kenneth MacDonald was called Icabod Slipp in Hold That Lion! (1947), his character in this short is a unnamed crook, so during the stock footage from "Hold That Lion," all references to Slipp are replaced with, him, he or that crook.
Train scenes are mostly stock footage from The Three Stooges short Hold That Lion! (1947), including Curly Howard's cameo. By the time of this film's 1953 release, Curly had already died the previous year.
Opening scene with the Stooges in their car uses the painted background seen onstage on their short Three Hams on Rye (1950).
