When Joe phones Matt from Border City, he makes it a collect call. But when Matt answers, they begin speaking immediately, without the operator first asking if he would accept the charges.
Why would a rich hood hold on to a murder weapon after it was used to kill a cop? Even a high school kid would have destroyed the weapon right away.
At gunpoint, Joe, accompanied by Marianna, forces Al into the back of a tractor trailer. But it is night and the trailer has no lighting. The only light available is the one for the camera to film this trio. Therefore, any experienced policeman would know getting into an area totally devoid of any light would place himself in a situation that would ensure his quarry would attempt to overcome him.
