- Martin Brady: Lágrimas.
- Dr. Herbert J. Stovall: Lágrimas? That's Spanish, isn't it? For tears?
- Helen Colton: It's wrong.
- Martin Brady: To feel like this?
- Helen Colton: It's wrong. What we are and what we did - and, God help me, what I'm feeling right now for you.
- Martin Brady: This is quite a party. I never saw a party like this before.
- Helen Colton: Surely they have parties in Mexico.
- Martin Brady: Oh, sure. But, this is different. I mean, well, it's an American party.
- Texas Ranger Capt. Rucker: Pretty woman.
- Martin Brady: Yep. She sure is.
- Texas Ranger Capt. Rucker: We don't get many that pretty out here. Any way, they don't stay very pretty long. Not after they've been here for awhile. But, she's a pretty one. Turn any man's head.
- Martin Brady: I would not call them assassins.
- Gen. Marcos Castro: He doesn't call them - A hired pistolero is in no position to form opinions of assassins.
- Cipriano Castro: I appreciate your delicacy. It is very touching. But, very unrealistic. Very - gringo, Brady.
- Helen Colton: We've said everything. There's nothing more to wait for. There's nothing more to know. If you want me, Martin, you'll have to come and get me. You'll have to cross the river.
- Capt. Verdugo: It's a matter of honor.
- Martin Brady: You look after your honor, Captain. I'll look after my skin.
