Goofs

In the first Battle at the farm house, the marines kill about 30 North Korean soldiers, yet later, there is not one dead body on the ground.

Some of the same footage of attacking North Koreans at the farm house are shown over and over again.

Alan Ladd and Sidney Poitier climb onto a Chinese tank & pour kerosine over it before setting it alight. Ladd pushes Poitier off and drops a hand grenade down the hatch causing an explosion and flames shoot out. The tank is still moving but the turret revolves to point the way it's come. Ladd's trousers catch on fire and as he tries to get off a trouser leg gets caught on the track and he's dragged towards the front of the tank before freeing himself. He jumps in front of the tank and is lying face down facing the back of the tank and one of the tracks goes over his right leg. When it's passed over him he's now lying cross ways with his head nearest the track that went over his leg . The turret gun is now facing forward, the tank continues for a short distance before stopping with it's gun now pointing backwards.

In several scenes a Chinese soldier was shooting a German WWII MP40 also known as a Schmeisser submachine gun. A Russian or a Chinese copy of a Russian weapon would have been used.
