When Andrew the Butler is trying to lure the cat from behind a statue, and then later, when Beth Venable is approaching the cat on a staircase, a string, presumably to control the cat, is visible.
Out of ten characters, 6 get killed. The three "good guys" -- Rowles, Latimer and Beth Venable -- go their own ways. But it is never told what happens to Jacob's wife, Louise.
Throughout the movie Beth speaks very highly of Tabitha and protects her. However, after Beth sells the family home and moves away, she leaves Tabitha behind.
