- On the BYU (Brigham Young University) TV channel's version of the movie, when Mr. Brownlow angrily accuses Mr. Bumble and his wife for keeping a locket that they bring to him to help identify Oliver's family and past history, he accuses them of withholding that evidence for years and for them being in violation of the law, to which Mr. Bumble replies "If that's what the law supposes sir, than the law is an ass." (BYU TV dubs the word "ass." )
