On arrival back from Rio, François goes outside and had his cases put in a car. In one scene the driver takes a vertical case from the trolley; then the camera angle changes and the case is back.
Colonel Toulouse tells Francois that the legion of honour is a military award. In fact it is awarded to both military personnel and civilians, the criteria for awarding it to civilians actually being easier.
