Sadly not. The last episode was merely him trying to get into Nurse Gladys's bedroom. The follow-up, Still Open All Hours revealed that Nurse Gladys and Arkwright remained engaged until his death-despite the obvious inconvenience to her, you might think.
He had a soft spot for Mavis, but it seems they didn't go out together, as well as the milk woman (ditto). A woman answered an advert for a live in housekeeper (played by Gilly Colman) but he didn't go with her either. There was obviously Leroy's mother (but we don't know who that was) and Mrs Agnew (played by Sally Lindsay) in Still Open All Hours.
In the final episode we meet Leroy's mother Linda, played by Paula Wilcox.
