Talk about being cheated. I was expecting this to be gory and shocking, hence it' R rating. But like Assassin, also R rated, I was again left stupefied, and in an enigma to why. The movie, well t.v movie has a great cast, Forster. The only real good, and decent reason to watch it. God, I wish the late Forster was still alive, as being one of my twenty favorite actors. When I think about, it's viewing, the story only goes so far, and then it's pretty flat, as to the movie's entirety. Basically, it's a brilliant incredible cloning experience, but one that goes horribly wrong. Forster plays a brilliant Science professor, cheated out of a higher position, by a colleague. Wanting to steal it back, and prove this life changing experiment of cloning himself, thanks to the help of older partner/work acquaintance, what results of course, is a malfunction, as the cloned Forster creates murderous havoc. What's actually frightening, is the cloned one, is so very much human, and direct, it's creepy. All of this this, doesn't constitute for a whole movie, as there's not enough real shocks, suspense, plot turns, so we basically have a run of the mill picture, that falls pretty flat after twenty minutes. Forster fans. Give it a go, if just for a Forster. For me, excluding the latter, I was very short changed, as to what I expected, which brought about heated anger. Heaven forbid, should someone clone this movie. Great title though, but it wouldn't last two titles in the movie ring.
