Updated: There has been another round of content removal from Disney+, this time in the Emea region, which consists of Europe, the Middle East and Africa. More than 120 titles have been taken off this week, primarily Disney Channel original movies and vintage Disney live-action films, as well as a few series, including Zeke and Luther, Pepper Ann, So Random and the first three seasons of Nat Geo’s Genius and ESPN/Nat Geo docs.
According to sources, the takedowns were a result of a library title review. There have been several content purges at Disney+ over the last year amid cost-cutting, most notably the removal of a slew of original series last May.
Here is a list of movie titles that are said to be gone from Disney+ in Emea, compiled by Drew Ryan.

Celebrated director William Wyler directed 19 feature films in 1927 alone. To put that into perspective, Stanley Kubrick directed 13 in his whole career.
Wyler is one of the more towering figures in American cinema, holding the record for the greatest number of Oscar nominations for Best Director at 12, and has won three times for "Mrs. Miniver," for "The Best Years of Our Lives," and for "Ben-Hur." Additionally, his films have attracted more Oscar attention than any other filmmaker in history; 13 of them have been nominated for Best Picture, and he directed 14 Oscar-winning performances. If you are playing Trivial Pursuit and the question is about records at the Academy Awards, William Wyler is likely your best guess.
As one of the tentpoles of Hollywood's Golden Age, naturally, Wyler was afforded access to the best actors and actresses, and seemingly had his run of whatever projects he wanted. Throughout the 1920s, Wyler paid his...

Malcolm Marmorstein, a screenwriter who worked on the first season of the soap opera Dark Shadows and on films including Pete’s Dragon, Return From Witch Mountain and S*P*Y*S, has died. He was 92.

Malcolm Marmorstein, screenwriter of the 1970s Disney hits Pete’s Dragon and Return from Witch Mountain and a decade earlier was a key element of the Dark Shadows writing staff when ABC’s gothic soap opera famously introduced vampire character Barnabas Collins, died Saturday in Los Angeles. He was 92.
The cause of death was cancer, his stepdaughter Romy Fleming told Deadline.
A New Jersey native, Marmorstein began his career as a stagehand and stage manager on Broadway, working on such iconic productions as A Streetcar Named Desire with Marlon Brando and Damn Yankees with Gwen Verden.
Before moving to Los Angeles in 1967, Marmorstein began writing for the New York-based soap The Doctors, where he was head writer before being hired away by Dark Shadows creator Dan Curtis in late 1966. Disney has shared a new trailer for their upcoming Disney+ streaming service and it’s over 3-hours long! I don’t know if you want to spend over three hours seeing what Disney+ has to offer when it launches, but you have the option!
Disney+ also posted all of the films and TV shows coming to the streaming service on a super long Twitter thread, which I included below the trailer. As you’ll see there’s a ton of stuff that will be available that will make Disney fans happy. Gargoyles and several other classic 90s animated series are among them along with a lot of old weird films that have been pulled out of the Disney vault.
If you don’t want to watch the trailer or scroll through the Twitter feed, I shared the full list of titles for you. Check everything out below and let us...

Disgusting, or shocking, are words often used to inform the audience what awaits them in a horror film. When a film is about demon rape, lurid immediately comes to mind. However, if you have a restrained (and respected) British horror director at the helm, will the results be different? Incubus (1982) is a fascinating shocker that attempts to walk the line between classy whodunit and lascivious bloodlust.
Released in September by Artists Releasing Corporation, Incubus (or, The Incubus according to the poster) had a large budget for a horror title at the time (5.1 million Cad) and was not a draw at the box office. Reviews were mostly dismal as well, and considering the subject matter, this is not surprising. ‘Demon rape’ does not scream fun night out at the movies. However, Incubus provides many moments of terror designed with the discerning horror fiend in mind. It’s an underappreciated gem.

Happy 75th birthday today to Ali MacGraw. "Who?" Some of you might be asking, which is telling.
My first and only significant memory of Ali MacGraw, who was quite famous when I was a child, was seeing her face on the sheet music to the theme from Love Story (1970) that my sister used to play on the piano when I was tiny. I have no idea why I remember this so vividly but I do. I also remember my mom grumbling about the movie's tagline which she said was 'Totally Untrue'.
love means never having to say you're sorry
My sister had quite a few movie theme songs on sheet music and the other ones I remember looking at were Ice Castles, Jaws and Star Wars. The only one that I had actually seen was Star Wars. I don't remember seeing it in theaters. My true movie memories don't start...

We start the Top 7. You finish the Top 10.
Sometimes, an alien teen has to learn to make his way on Earth. Other times, they have very human problems while still on their home planet. Whether he wants to just fit in or she wants to see the world, alien teens are just like the terrestrial variety. This weekend’s I Am Number Four tries to show us, once again, just how hard it can be to be an alien teen. You have to get good grades in school and run away from a killer trying to track you down. Below are some of my favorites.
7. Lem from Planet 51 (2009)
Recap: Lem (voiced by Justin Long) is just a geeky alien teen trying to get noticed by the girl next door, Neera (voiced by Jessica Biel).Until the day that a strange alien from Earth (voiced by Dwayne Johnson) lands in...

The speculation as to who would make up Bravo's cast for "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" is apparently over.
According to E! News, the Beverly Hills cast includes Paris Hilton's aunts, a Hollywood wife, a restaurateur and Las Vegas money.
Here are the reported ladies of the "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" cast:
Kim and Kyle Richards are Kathy Hilton's sisters. Kim Richards (pictured above, left), 45, was a Disney darling in the early 1970s. She starred in several films for the "Mickey Mouse" company, including "Escape to Witch Mountain" and "Return from Witch Mountain" and she has appeared in several 80s TV shows. She did a cameo in 2009's "Race to Witch Mountain."
Her younger sister, Kyle Richards (pictured above, right), was also a child actress in the 70s, playing Alicia in "Little House on the Prairie" and Lindsey in the horror film, "Halloween." She also...

Hello again Boxwishers, or should we say “Hallo und guten tag”, as we’ve all gone Inglourious Basterds crazy here at Boxwish HQ. Yes, we’re head over heels for the new Quentin Tarantino film starring Brad Pitt and we’re not the only ones as Pitt and his rag-tag bunch of Nazi-scalpers have shot to the top of the Us box office. So if you haven’t yet seen it, we heartily recommend, and if you have, maybe check out these other film fancies heading to DVD from today. There’s bromance giggles in I Love You, Man, political comedy with In The Loop and clean cut Disney fun in Race to Witch Mountain. Now who can say no to that?
If you see… Groom-to-be Peter (Paul Rudd) search for a male buddy to be his best man and stumbles upon Jason Segel’s free-wheeling slob Sydney in lads comedy I Love You,...

Just as Return From Witch Mountain lost a little of the magic that made the original Escape to Witch Mountain so special, the series continues to atrophy with the third entry in the conceptual story with Race to Witch Mountain. Escape to Witch Mountain shrouded its story in mystery by keeping the children’s history concealed from both the antagonists, the audience and the children themselves. The film as a whole was a testament to discovering identity, a feat which Return From Witch Mountain couldn’t quite replicate as it became nothing but a film to demonstrate how good Disney had become at its cable-based stunt work. So what benchmark does that leave for Disney to score with Race to Witch Mountain?
Whatever it is, Disney definitely doesn’t quite achieve it.
Jack Bruno (Dwayne Johnson) drives a taxi cab in Las Vegas and, in doing so, meets a lot of interesting people.

I'm a bit confused by Return from Witch Mountain. In the original, there's a pretty solid theme of self-discovery (which is admittedly thrown away by the ending, but it's there). Further still, Escape to Witch Mountain set up the perfect premise for a sequel in the final five minutes. When Tia and Tony's Uncle Bene (Denver Pyle) says there are many more alien children out there waiting to find their way back to their kind, Disney essentially established a goldmine for countless sequels of the twins helping other children like themselves get home. As soon as I heard the uncle say that line I thought to myself ‘wow, that's actually a pretty smart sequel premise - well played Disney.' Now you listen here, Return to Witch Mountain will have none of that spoon-fed sequel crap - oh no - instead they...

I Heart Camp! No, Not The Kind With Tents!
I have no taste. That's the general consensus from my friends, who are by turns bewitched, bothered, and bewildered by my obsession with camp, especially when it comes to films and 80's pop culture. Things came to a head last week when I invited some of them to a special screening in my house of the 2006 remake of The Wicker Man. For those unfamiliar with it, here's a clip of some the movie's greatest scenes. Enjoy!
"How'd it get burned? How'd it get burned? How did the Bees in my eyes get Burned?
There is absolutely nothing better than Nic Cage at his most spastic. The Wicker Man had Nic in full looney-tunes mode, along with the most unintentionally hilarious script to come along in many a moon. Plus it also had the great Ellen Burstyn looking like Braveheart's crazy grandma.

Chicago – The Round-Up, HollywoodChicago.com’s famous recurring column about lesser Blu-Ray and DVD titles that may have slipped through your fingers at the store recently, is in clean-up mode this week. With a DVD collection for a famous young actress, an old cartoon, a straight-to-video horror movie, and three movies with the word “Mountain” in the title, the only word that comes to mind to tie these titles together is “random”.
You know those bins of “impulse buy” items you’ll see in stores near the cash register? Stuff that you may not have put on your shopping list and that you may not even know you want until you see them? That’s what this week’s Round-Up column is like. Fickman on way to 'Witch' redo
Andy Fickman is coming on board to direct Witch Mountain, Walt Disney Pictures' modern re-imagining of its classic 1975 adventure movie Escape to Witch Mountain. Disney-based Andrew Gunn is producing via his Gunn Films banner.
The 1975 film was based on a science fiction novel by Alexander Key and followed a pair of siblings, endowed with paranormal powers, who go on the run from a diabolical group of men who wish to exploit their abilities. The brother and sister turn out to be extraterrestrials.
The movie hatched a sequel, Return to Witch Mountain, best remembered for having Bette Davis and Christopher Lee in the cast, as well as a made-for-TV movie Beyond to Witch Mountain that was to have been a pilot for a TV series.
Matt Lopez wrote the current draft. Lopez also penned the studio's Bedtime Stories, which is due to go before cameras in January with Adam Shankman directing Adam Sandler.
Gunn Films' Ann Marie Sanderlin is exec producing. Brigham Taylor and Casey Wolfe are overseeing for Disney.
