To promote the picture, lead cast members Zachi Noy and Sybille Rauch went on a worldwide publicity tout across the globe which included the nations of Japan, Brazil and Hong Kong.

The film was the ''the most successful of the [Lemon] Popsicle series'' according to 'Lemon Popsicle Forever'.
This sequel had an increased amount of humor compared to the first two 'Lemon Popsicle' pictures. Producer Menahem Golan said of this: "Maybe we didn't pay enough attention to it because in either case we had buyers in Germany and it became a brand-name."
