HBO’s Euphoria took the world by storm in 2019 and continued its momentum after the premiere of Season 2. Its insane popularity among fans warranted a series renewal. Taking this into consideration, many have been wondering why it is taking so long for Season 3 to arrive.

It does not help that many of its loyal viewers have already lost interest in the narrative. This long delay, paired with the controversial behind-the-scenes drama, is not helping the show retain its fanbase.

What’s Causing Euphoria’s Massive Delay?

In February 2022, the series was renewed for a third season. Now, it has been two years and fans aren’t getting positive updates about it, and to make it worse, there have been rumors that it has been canceled for good. Thankfully, HBO issued a statement via The Independent and debunked the claim that the show is getting axed.

For the past few months, Tatsuki Fujimoto, one of the most renowned manga creators, famously known for works like Chainsaw Man and Look Back, has been getting mixed reviews on his artwork. Chainsaw Man has one of the biggest fanbases in the manga industry, but as of now, this fanbase has been divided by the current art style of the manga.

A few months back, Fujimoto changed his art style in the Chainsaw Man manga series. While some fans didn’t mind it, others were not at all in favor of it. They felt like the drawings became worse and his work felt sped up. This led to a huge backlash against the manga creator, as his drawings were one of the best aspects of his work, the biggest example being his one-shot manga Look Back, which recently got an anime adaptation.

Manga fans worldwide know the renowned series, Hunter x Hunter‘s creator, Yoshihiro Togashi’s relentless drive for his works. Despite his health struggles, Togashi has remained dedicated to his work, providing his readers with periodic updates on his progress and personal challenges. Nickelodeon Studios is about to begin production on My Weird School, a new feature-length movie based on Dan Gutman’s bestselling book series.

The movie will follow middle school student Aj as he finds himself joining forces with faculty and friends to save the world from an alien invasion.

Production begins in Vancouver, Canada this month. The movie will stream day-and-date on Paramount+ and air on Nickelodeon channels in all markets where available. Premiere details will be announced at a later date.

With more than 100 titles and 35 million copies sold, Gutman’s My Weird School series follows the day-to-day life of wisecracking A.J., his loyal pals Ryan and Michael, and his archenemy, smarty-pants Andrea, as they face a set of wacky teachers at Ella Mentry School—the weirdest school ever.

In the movie, Aj, played by Hero Hunter, hates middle school but he is willing to give it a chance to prove him wrong.

Netflix is removing several big titles in November.

The streaming service just updated their monthly list of movies and television series that are debuting on the streamer throughout the month. However, along with the list of debuting shows and films, they always announce a handful that will be removed as well.

Netflix’s Family Pack, based on the game Werewolves of Millers Hollow created by Philippe Des Pallières & Hervé Marly and published by Asmodee Group, isn’t the first feature based on a werewolf whodunnit mystery game that’s designed to induce paranoia amongst players. It’s also not the first to mine that setup for laughs over scares, either. It’s not the core concept that sets Family Pack apart, but rather writer/director François Uzan‘s enchanting and heartwarming interpretation of the werewolf whodunnit board game. Nothing unites or delights quite like a family bonding through time travel and hunting werewolves together.

Amos died August 21 at the age of 84, but his death was just announced yesterday October 1 by his son Kelly Christopher Amos.

His daughter Shannon Amos shared in an Instagram post Tuesday night that she was “without words” after learning of her father’s death through the media.

“I am without words…Our family has received the heartbreaking news that my Dad, John Allen Amos, Jr., transitioned on August 21st,” she wrote. “We are devastated and left with many questions about how this happened 45 days ago, learning about it through the media like so many of you.”

Hisoka’s Past is a one-shot set before the events of Hunter x Hunter, but written by a different beloved author. Sui Ishida, the author of Tokyo Ghoul, wrote Hisoka’s Past and while it may or may not be considered canonical with the original manga’s events, Togashi himself recognizes the one-shot.

Yuki Tabata’s Black Clover is an extremely popular anime/manga series with a gripping plot. Its dual protagonists, Asta and Yuno, have gone through many character development arcs and have become fan favorites. While Asta’s Anti-Magic is comparably easy to understand, the same cannot be said about Yuno’s history.

Yuno has an extremely complicated backstory and Yuki Tabata has hinted at it little by little as Black Clover continued serialization. But some elements in it are still confusing to fans, and rightfully so.

Both Yuno and Asta were introduced as orphans in Black Clover, who were left under the care of a church in Hage. However, Yuno was actually born to Loyce and Ciel of the House of Grinberryall. He thus belongs to the royal family of the Spade Kingdom.

Hunter X Hunter is a story that has mesmerized anime and manga fans for decades. James Darren, who became an instant teen idol as the boyish surfer Moondoggie in the “Gidget” movies and went on to a prolific career in TV and music, has died. He was 88.

Darren went to a Los Angeles hospital for scheduled heart surgery last week but was considered too weak to proceed and was sent home, his son Jim Moret told multiple media outlets. But his failing health forced a return to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he died in his sleep surrounded by family.

Born James Ercolani in Philadelphia, Darren was already using a stage name when he starred in “Gidget” in 1959 and its sequels. His fame was secured instantly by the ’50s surf-culture hit, and he soon parlayed that notoriety with a number three hit single with “Goodbye Cruel World” in 1961.

Darren died in his sleep at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, his son Jim Moret, a correspondent for Inside Edition, told The Hollywood Reporter. He had entered the hospital for an aortic valve replacement but was deemed too weak to have the surgery; he went home but had to return.

“I always thought he would pull through,” Moret said, “because he was so cool. He was always cool.”
