Was Charlie Sheen accused of raping a 13-year-old? (Photo Credit – Instagram)
Allegations against Charlie Sheen involving Corey Haim have taken his wild but lovable image into dark territory. In the wake of #MeToo, Sheen was accused of sexually abusing 13-year-old Haim on the Lucas set in 1986—a bombshell claim first reported by The National Enquirer via former actor Dominick Brascia, shaking Hollywood.
According to Brascia, Haim confided in him about the disturbing encounter, saying that Sheen initiated the abuse after they smoked pot together. It was an incident that, according to Brascia, left Haim confused and rejected. Other sources later corroborated the claim, stating that Haim believed he was “in love” with his abuser, a typical psychological response from young victims of such trauma.
But Sheen, true to form, didn’t quietly bow out. His legal team swiftly denied the accusations, labeling them as twisted fabrications, while Haim’s mother,...

Winona Ryder has had her career ups and downs since she made her film debut at age 15 as a high-schooler who befriends Corey Haim, her bully-targeted classmate, in 1986’s “Lucas.” She reigned as one of the most in-demand film actresses in the ‘90s as she transitioned into more adult roles. Ryder hit an unfortunate speed bump in 2001, after she faced shoplifting charges for stealing $5,500 worth of merchandise from a Saks Fifth Avenue department store. She ended up sentenced to three years of probation, 480 hours of community service and various fines while receiving both psychological and drug counseling.
Ryder took time off from acting between the time of her arrest until 2005, when she appeared in a string of indie films. But her true comeback arrived in J.J. Abrams‘ 2009 “Star Trek” reboot as Spock’s human mother Amanda Grayson. These days, she is best known as single mother Joyce Byers, whose...

General Hospital spoilers reveal Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) were a couple once upon a time.
Their friendship since then has gone through some trials and tribulations, but they made it through the strain and have come out the other side stronger than ever. Now, Sasha is going to be reeling for some time over the news that the man she loves — Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) — is her cousin, and it may be Michael who helps her through her heartache over this situation.
Will this bring her and Michael even closer — potentially at a time when Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) is expected to destroy her marriage via an affair with Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison)? Should Sasha and Michael end up rekindling their romance, it could blow up twice as bad for Sasha when she finally learns Cody was never her cousin…but Michael is.

The new episode isn’t even here yet, but I can already feel my heart breaking. Let’s get into our Grey’s Anatomy Season 21 Episode 4 Spoilers.
According to the latest promo, we’re going to be introduced to Chloe next week.
Chloe is, of course, Mika’s 22-year-old sister who just received a devastating cancer diagnosis.
(Disney/Anne Marie Fox) Grey’s Anatomy Season 21 Episode 4 Spoilers: Another Heartbreaking Cancer Arc
A few things stand out about this storyline.
First, Midori Francis announced before the new season premiered that she would be exiting the Grey’s Anatomy cast.
Naturally, I’m wondering if the writers will use Chloe to explain Yasuda’s decision to leave, or if it will be more complicated than that.
As seen on Grey’s Anatomy Season 5 Episode 17, sometimes cancers can be genetic and affect entire families.
While I really hope this isn’t the case with the Yasuda siblings,...

The 1980s might seem like a weird time from a distance, but if you were there for the decade, it was a largely ten-year stretch of mind-numbing conformity.
Pop music mostly sounded the same, television was dominated by rote sitcoms and nighttime soaps, and the movies were chasing the high-concept dragon. Formula was king. So anything or anybody that broke with the status quo was a godsend to those of us who weren't good, undemanding consumers. We needed off-kilter, mainstream-friendly visionaries like David Byrne, the Kids in the Hall, and Paul Reubens — artists who could be weird without offending the conservative sensibilities of the era's rank-and-file (which created problems of access if you grew up outside a major media market).
I'll forever be amazed that Reubens' Pee-wee Herman, a funny-talking dweeb who could switch from ingratiating to irritating on a dime, became an entertainment phenomenon. But I also don't think...

History has recorded George Lucas as the man behind Star Wars. But the filmmaker exists beyond the peripheries of science fiction and galaxies far, far away. In Hollywood, the contributions of Lucas have been above and beyond what fans give him credit for. And no one can prove that better than Steven Spielberg.

We often say that behind every great man is a woman. But, behind Steven Spielberg is the relentless force of nature, George Lucas, working his magic and lending a hand where needed. Although the powerhouse duo’s friendship is a subject of legend, their collaboration on one of the greatest films of the ’80s is a miracle.

In addition to Lucas returning, General Hospital spoilers for Friday, October 4, focus on bad behavior, constant reassurances, and all-important advice-giving.
Welcome Back, Dr. Lucas Jones
Lucas finally returns to Port Charles, and unlike the last few years, he’ll stick around. While he did attend Bobbie’s (the late Jacklyn Zeman) funeral last January, Lucas has been away from Port Charles for quite a while. And things have changed in his absence.
Brad (Perry Shen) is back working at the hospital, although his return is extremely controversial. Just ask Portia (Brook Kerr). Who will Lucas run into first? There’s a good bet that one of his first run-ins will be with his ex. They are no longer married, thanks to Brad’s bad, illegal, heartbreaking, and toxic choices. Will tension surface in their initial exchanges? And what has Lucas been up to since he’s been gone? Is there someone in his life?...

Winona Ryder is looking back at how her parents tried to protect her from Hollywood as a child actor.
The actress, who made her feature-film debut in 1986’s Lucas at just 15 years old, shared in a recent interview with AnOther Magazine that instead of relocating to Los Angles, her parents chose to drive seven hours from San Francisco to L.A. each time she got an audition.
She added that school was also a priority in her family, which meant she “had to keep up my grades” to be allowed to go on auditions.
“I couldn’t work if it coincided with school,” Ryder explained. “My parents — who are just my best friends — were very wary of Hollywood. They associated it with Judy Garland’s tragedy, and we never relocated there. That turned out to be such a gift, because I knew a lot of kids who did bear that.

Two and a Half Men definitely raised his star value, but Charlie Sheen was already a big name in the acting business with several well-acclaimed projects under his belt. One such project was Platoon, which also starred Johnny Depp and was released in 1986. The concept of the movie itself was quite challenging, given that it was a war flick.

However, in order to perfectly capture the true essence of his role as a U.S. Army volunteer serving in Vietnam, Sheen had to scrub toilets. This, for sure, has to be the most unforgettable event in the actor’s life.

For Winona Ryder, one of the strangest things of all is how Gen Z actors aren’t actually “interested in movies.”
Ryder, whose own stardom began at age 14 with her film debut in 1986’s “Lucas,” told the Los Angeles Times that the younger generation of stars today don’t respect film history.
“I don’t mean to sound so hopeless,” Ryder said. “There are a few that are just not interested in movies. Like, the first thing they say is, ‘How long is it?'”
And so begins the guessing game of whom Ryder could be referring to.
The “Stranger Things” and “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” actress quickly started ruling out potential anti-cinephiles, beginning with fellow film-obsessed actress Jenna Ortega. Ryder told the outlet that Ortega referenced Mikhail Kalatozov’s 1964 film “I Am Cuba,” which per Lat “immediately impressed” Ryder.

After completing the critically acclaimed original trilogy of films, Lucas returned to the space opera saga for the prequel trilogy, which proved extremely divisive among fans and critics. However, one decision Lucas made for the prequels could have destroyed the entire franchise.

Dave Filoni presented one of the biggest surprises in the Star Wars universe when Luke Skywalker made a cameo in The Mandalorian Season 2’s finale. Luke Skywalker’s fantastic entry took the audience by surprise and raised a storm online. To maintain the element of surprise, the makers even kept the other cast members in the dark. But it looks like Mandalorian co-star Katee Sackhoff did not appreciate this lack of trust. The Bo-Katan Kryze actress immediately reached out to Dave Filoni after the episode aired.

Star Wars fans continue to hate The Acolyte as the audience rating drops down to an extremely low 14% despite the fresh Tomatometer score of 84%. One particular scene in the series has now irked fans for the complete absence of logic to meet its objective of representation. Leslye Headland’s show featured an obese Jedi character and fans questioned the inclusion of the character considering the physical and mental training undergone by the Jedi.

Fans were furious about this addition and complained that the new Star Wars series was following a ‘woke’ agenda. While the initial Star Wars projects under George Lucas featured predominantly white male characters, the new show featured mostly characters of diversity.

There are some aspects of the Skywalker Saga that make it very difficult to enjoy the films in cohesion with each other. Given the amount of time it took to complete the entire saga, and the large swathes of down-time between each trilogy in the series, it might have become difficult for George Lucas to keep the franchise’s canon intact, especially at a time when information was not so freely available.

This has caused a slew of plot holes to present themselves to keen-eyed viewers. While some have been explained away via extra-narrative means, there are a few that even Geroge Lucas has admitted to being mistakes that have no canon or extra-narrative explanations. If Catherine had a mustache, she'd be twirling it.
The level of villainy she's devolved to has become cartoonish at best, but it particularly took the cake during Grey's Anatomy Season 20 Episode 10.
In an understaffed hospital still battling issues like burnout, she wiped out four award-winning surgeons or those highly valued in their field, and she's fixing to take down the interns and potentially Bailey, too.
Catherine is a Cartoonish Antagonist to Everyone at Grey Sloan
Is it worth it, Catherine Fox?
There's a limit to how petty one person can be, and she's surpassed that by a mile and a half.
Meredith was back to wrap up the season by blowing through Grey Sloan and imploding everything in her wake under the guise of self-righteousness.
But because she's Meredith Grey, we roll with it.
She likes to burn everything around her down and then bounce.
In some way, I have to respect it.

Tom Hanks has played a hero multiple times, whether in Captain Phillips or as Woody from Toy Story. Each time, he’s managed to bring something new and meaningful to the idea of being a hero. Thus, when Clint Eastwood approached Tom Hanks, proposing that he take on the role of Sully, the real-life hero who safely landed a plane on the Hudson River in 2009, Hanks found himself pausing before making a decision, in the 2016 film.

It was a movie with a questionable title. A lot of critics were rough on it. Gene Siskel even called it one of the worst movies of the year. It came and went in theatres with few movie-goers paying any attention. But in the years since its release, it has become a beloved cult classic, with a legion of fans that love quoting its memorable lines. Some of its youngest viewers were drawn in by what they saw as a wish fulfillment concept: What would you do if the babysitter croaked on the first day of your mom’s vacation… so you had the house to yourself for two months straight? We get to see what the Crandall kids would do in the 1991 comedy Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead – and it’s time for this one to be Revisited.

If the Star Wars franchise is considered one of the greatest film series of all time in Hollywood, the credit goes to its creative mastermind George Lucas. The visionary director pioneered a sci-fi revolution with the epic space saga that spanned multiple decades to become a cult classic that will continue to remain evergreen for years to come.

But one particular film in the series which was specifically made for the holidays, was considered by Lucas himself as the franchise’s worst effort and one that he would want to erase from everyone’s memory including his own.

‘Star Wars: The Acolyte’ Creator Leslye Headland Talks the Unique Perspective of Her Upcoming Series
Star Wars: The Acolyte creator Leslye Headland is currently putting the finishing touches on a four-year journey that started with Lucasfilm boss Kathleen Kennedy buying her overall series pitch in the room. At the time, her hook was “Frozen meets Kill Bill,” and now the first trailer provides a few more of the puzzle pieces. Set a century before Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, Amandla Stenberg’s mysterious character appears to be hunting Jedi during a time of peace near the end of the High Republic era.
The trailer kicks off with Lee Jung-jae’s Jedi Master urging a group of Padawans to not trust their own deceitful eyes, and perhaps the same can be said of the trailer and the series’ overall narrative. The show will be taking a page out of Rashomon’s playbook, exploring different perspectives on the same events.

NBC’s sneak preview of the midseason sitcom Extended Family scored a veritable touchdown, with well-watched NFL football as its Saturday lead-in.
Debuting out of NBC’s coverage of the Cincinnati Bengals/Pittsburgh Steelers game, the Jon Cryer-Donald Faison-Abigail Spencer sitcombo retained 4.7 million total viewers along with a 0.9 (!!) demo rating, which in today’s climate may as well be “a bajillion point kabillion.”

Brett Hadley, best known for his longtime role as Genoa City police detective Carl Williams on The Young and the Restless, died Wednesday, according to Soap Opera Digest and his longtime friend, photographer Mary Ann Halpin, who shared the news on Facebook. Hadley was 92. A cause of death was not revealed.
Born on September 25, 1930, in Louisville, Ky, Hadley studied drama at the University of New Mexico. He began working in television in the early 1970s, with guest roles on numerous series including Room 222, The F.B.I., Ironside, Lucas Tanner, The Waltons and Kojak, as well as a major recurring role on Marcus Welby, M.D.
However, it was his role as no-nonsense Genoa City police detective Carl Williams on The Young and the Restless for which he is best remembered. Hadley joined the daytime soap in 1980 and played the role until 1991, when Carl became an off-screen unseen character who was “always...

Dir: Ol Parker. Starring: George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Kaitlyn Dever, Maxime Bouttier, Billie Lourd, Lucas Bravo. 12A, 104 minutes.
It’s a joy to watch Julia Roberts and George Clooney fall in love. It’s an even greater joy to watch them bicker. As embittered exes in Ticket to Paradise, flying to Bali in order to stop the whirlwind nuptials of their daughter (Kaitlyn Dever) to a local seaweed farmer (Maxime Bouttier), the duo have been provided a full buffet of snappish asides. They’re heirs to that great screwball tradition. Think back to Claudette Colbert, hitching a car ride with a coquettish flash of the leg in order to tease Clarke Gable in It Happened One Night. Or to Cary Grant at wit’s end in the face of Katharine Hepburn’s scatterbrained antics in Bringing Up Baby.
Here, when Georgia (Roberts) and David (Clooney) are – incidentally – sat next to...

As a twice-wounded veteran of the Vietnam War, Oliver Stone had a solemn responsibility to drive home the savagery of this tragically misguided conflict to modern audiences via "Platoon." It had been a little over a decade since the last U.S. helicopter left Saigon, and the filmmaker wanted to make sure no one would forget the myriad of atrocities committed in America's name. This meant he had to place the highest of premiums on authenticity, from the locations down to the cast.
Given that the film was going to be a showcase for numerous young actors, Stone found himself inundated with hungry ingenues eager to make the leap to stardom. Though the higher ranking officers like Sargents Barnes and Elias would be played by more seasoned performers like Tom Berenger and Willem Dafoe, their charges had to be fresh-faced kids who looked like they'd been plucked out of their...
