Gregory Harrison stars as Paul Danner, a rich successful lawyer, who happens to be the best at what he does and when an old law school friend, Jane Kirkland asks for a favour he owes her he immediately says yes. Jane, played by Stephanie Zimbalist works at a legal center that don't take fees for their work. She tells him about a case about a young boy named Kenny, who shot his father in self-defense, but for some reason Danner doesn't believe that especially after he finds out that Kenny's mother Eliza is in a sanitarium yet she isn't insane she just doesn't want to testify to save her son. As Danner gets more involved in the case his own past with his mother reveals that he was sexually abused as a child. Not a bad movie it was a little slow on the pick up and it didn't quite let us (the audience) understand each character well enough plus it lacked more pieces of the puzzle, but the actors did good. Gregory Harrison just seemed to be out of breath every other minute for no reason.
