Cinematographer Renato Berta recalled the scene where a child is looking through a keyhole a woman undressing. "We had a larger-than-life keyhole made, Daniel asked Arielle Dombasle to get naked... but he didn't dare stay: he asked my assistant Jean-Paul Toraille and me to make the plan without him, with instructions to film Arielle Dombasle's sex through the keyhole. Arielle played the game with great elegance and a lot of humor," he said.
