According to Tom Arnold's autobiography, while shooting, Tom was supposed to ride a motorcycle down a long road, however he got his pal to do the ride instead . . . While wearing only a helmet and nothing else. This infuriated director Bill Bixby, who had just found out his cancer had returned. After Bixbys death, Arnold went to Bixbys office and found among his prized possessions was a large alternate poster for the TV movie that was simply the naked biker suggesting Bixby eventually found the humor in the prank.
