- On some prints, the title is displayed as "Hans Christian Andersen's Thumbelina," while on others, it is "Don Bluth's Thumbelina."
- The 2012 Blu-ray adds the 1994 20th Century Fox logo right before the opening credits.
- There at least two versions commonly available, one released in Spain and the one in the United States. Runtimes are, respectively, "1h 27m (87 min) (Spain)" and "1h 26m (86 min) (United States)".
