Lucifer paid fatally poisoned Chloe one final hospital bedside visit before purposely dying himself, as seen in this deleted scene from Season 2 of the Fox drama.
In the midseason finale “A Good Day To Die,” Chloe (played by Lauren German) was on death’s doorstep, having been poisoned by Professor Carlisle (guest star Tim DeKay). With the not-so-good doctor himself now dead, Lucifer (Tom Ellis) got the idea to end his own life — temporarily, with help from Maze, Amenadiel and even Dr. Linda — so that he could track down Carlisle in Hell and procure the antidote formula.

I’m no scientist, but it seems to me that if you experiment with the line between life and death, there’s going to be some repercussions. Well, some attractive, rebellious science types learn that the hard way in “Flatliners.”
The remake of the 1990 horror movie that everyone is suddenly nostalgic for, brings together Ellen Page, Diego Luna, Nina Dobrev, James Norton and Kiersey Clemons for the chilling tale of paranormal freakiness.

While many DC superheroes have been heating up the small screen in recent years, it’s important that we not overlook the other properties the publisher has lent to airwaves, namely Vertigo adaptations such as Lucifer. While being markedly different from its source material, this supernatural police procedural has consistently enthralled viewers, so much that not only did Fox renew it for a third season, but they also had enough confidence in the show to move it to the 8 pm timeslot on Monday nights beginning this fall.
Like I said, this series is a much different beast (pun intended) than the comic books that paved its way, but I have to admit that it certainly went in a more fantastical direction during its sophomore run. As Lucifer Morningstar continued helping Chloe Decker solve murder cases, his life became evermore complicated once his mother escaped Hell and made Earth her new home.

Lucifer was pretty angry on Lucifer Season 2 Episode 12, but seeing Chloe bleeding from the nose stopped him cold.
On Lucifer Season 2 Episode 13, Lucifer will once again try to save Chloe's life and once again he has to return to Hell to do it.
Will he find the professor in time?
What else does he find out when he's down there that makes him so upset? Will he ever forgive Amenadiel? What about Charlotte?
And where is Maze? She's nowhere to be found in these pics!
It's going to be a intense hour for sure, We hope nothing bad happens to Chloe, but her luck might just run out! Won't this be the third time Lucifer has saved her life?
Check out the photos for a sneak peek at "A Good Day to Die" which airs on Monday, January 30 at 9/8c on Fox.

Werewolves should never mess with a blind Vietnam veteran.
From Dark Sky Films, director Adrian Garcia Bogliano (“The ABCs of Death”) presents a different kind of werewolf movie that takes place in a retirement community.
Here’s the synopsis:
Crescent Bay is not the ideal place to spend one's golden years, especially since the once-idyllic retirement community has been beset by a series of deadly animal attacks from the ominous forest surrounding it. When grizzled war veteran Ambrose McKinley (Nick Damici) is forced into moving there by his yuppie son Will (Ethan Embry), the residents immediately take offense to Ambrose's abrasive personality. But that take-no-prisoners attitude may be just what Ambrose needs to survive as it becomes clear that the attacks are being caused by creatures that are neither animal nor man, and that the tight-knit community of Crescent Bay is hiding something truly sinister in its midst...

Certainly no stranger to the genre, Bruce Willis is set to headline Emmett/Furla Films' sci-fi thriller Vice , says a story today at The Hollywood Reporter . He'll star opposite Ambyr Childers ( 2 Guns ). Originally a spec script from Andre Fabrizio and Jeremy Passmore (who also scripted the upcoming The Prince with Willis headlining), Vice takes place in a future world where the wealthy have the option of visiting a futuristic resort where even the darkest of fantasies can be lived out thanks to a robot staff that is reset every night. Childers plays one of the robots who, thanks to an error, winds up with every memory of her entire experience at the facility, leading her to seek revenge against the resort's owner (Willis). Willis starred last year in A Good Day to Die...

People’s Choice Awards 2014: Gee, why aren’t the Oscars more like them? (Photo: Jennifer Lawrence in ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’) People are always bitching about the members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences not representing the tastes of the average moviegoer. The Academy is accused of being elitist and snobbish, snotty and snooty, old and tired. Well, below you’ll find the list of winners and nominees of the 2014 People’s Choice Awards (select categories). So, this is what the Academy Awards would look like if they were popular (or populist), young, and vibrant; in other words, if they were to truly represent the likes and dislikes of the average moviegoer (at least in the United States). The list below will also give you an idea of what the Emmys and Grammys should look like if they were to truly represent the likes and dislikes of the average U.

I, Frankenstein gets a medieval poster for its new look. The modern take of Frankenstein starring Aaron Eckhart turns the human-made monster into a superhero.
Based on the Darkstorm Studios graphic novel "I, Frankenstein" created by Kevin Grevioux, Frankenstein, aka Adam in this story, still roams the Earth 200 years after his creation by Dr. Frankenstein. And can we say how good looking he is for a 200 year old. Played by Aaron Eckhart, the monster has now taken the shape of a normal human being, except he's stronger and indestructible. Adam is recruited to help the fate of humanity. More monsters like him are being awoken, which could destroy humankind. The 2014 People’s Choice Awards nominations were announced Nov. 5, and with fan-favorites like Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, Lucy Hale & Lea Michele all racking up nominations, our heads are spinning!
The People’s Choice Awards has always been one of the stand-out fun awards show offerings, but this year’s ceremony is looking to be a bloodbath. Jared Padalecki vs. Jensen Ackles vs. Stephen Amell vs. Ian Somerhalder vs. Andrew Lincoln? Pretty Little Liars vs. The Walking Dead? (How does one even vote on that?) At least no matter who wins, it’s somebody we like, right? (Wrong. So wrong. This is huge!)
Vampires, Liars, Doctors, and Walkers: The TV Noms
With plenty of viable candidates, the TV nominations are as brutally difficult as ever this year. Some of our favorite categories include “Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Show,” which has Beauty and the Beast, Once Upon A Time, Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries,...

Do people still play "Kane & Lynch"? We have no idea, but Hollywood has been hellbent on making a movie out of the franchise for years. Way, way back in 2010 "The Cooler" and "Running Scared" helmer Wayne Kramer was going to direct the movie that had Bruce Willis and Jamie Foxx attached, but it never materialized. Then F. Gary Gray ("The Italian Job") slid into the director's chair but still nothing happened and the project sorta faded away. But Gray has hung onto the job and now there's fresh life as an old pal of his is coming on board to star. The suddenly resurgent Gerard Butler, riding high off the success of "Olympus Has Fallen" (which has already spawned a sequel) is in talks to reteam with his "Law Abiding Citizen" director for the flick. Even more, Millenium Films want Vin Diesel to play Lynch to his Kane, with THR...

If you were a tad disappointed with John McClane’s escapades in the latest Die Hard film (A Good Day To Die, 2013), fear not, Independence Day director Roland Emmerich gives you a younger version of Willis in Channing Tatum, as white-vest-wearing, gun-totting John Cale (even the name sounds similar) in White House Down. This is a less serious affair than the recent, brutal Olympus Has Fallen, as the famous address of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave gets another pounding by unfriendly visitors after the President of the Free World.
Emmerich’s White House Down knows where it stands and doesn’t try to reinvent the wheel of action sieges or make some tedious political statement (though can’t resist subtly banging the world peace drum either). In fact, even the baddies are homegrown, with not an illegal alien in sight. It concentrates on bursts of well-placed action while wisely turning down proceedings a...

Does Die Hard 5 improve on DVD? Here's our review...
Dropping a sausage through the grill and onto the coals of a barbecue.
CG monkeys.
When you open a yoghurt and some drips off the lid onto your trousers.
Simon Cowell.
The EastEnders videogame on the Zx Spectrum.
The 20 minutes I lost trying to work out what Noel Edmonds has done with his beard.
The moment when you work out how many calories are in a pork pie.
The day that Neon magazine closed down.
Coffee that you didn't realise had gone cold.
That Bacardi advert that played for three years solid at UK cinemas in the early 90s.
Donald Trump.
The song in that Cameron Diaz film where she sang about willies.
The column of shame on the Daily Mail website.
Lambrini and lemonade.

This week: Something otherworldly is tormenting the poor Barretts in "Dark Skies," the sci-fi horror film starring Josh Hamilton, Keri Russell, Dakota Goyo and Kadan Rockett as a suburban family under siege by nasty alien visitors.
Also new this week is the 2010 Irish road-trip indie film "My Brothers" and the compelling drama "Lore" starring young Saskia Rosendahl as a German girl wandering post-wwii Europe with her siblings after their Nazi parents are interred by the Allies.

Though there are pretty much no guarantees at the box office-- studios will pump hundreds of millions of dollars into films that seem like sure things and go on to be bombs-- it's hard to go wrong with an animated children's film around the season of spring break. DreamWorks Animation, which needed a hit after last fall's disappointing Rise of the Guardians , scored another this weekend with The Croods, which made $11.6 million on Friday and is on track for a $42 million weekend. That handily made it the #1 movie on Friday, but it got surprisingly strong competition from Olympus Has Fallen, which according to Deadline made $10 million on Friday, putting it on track for a $28 million weekend-- particularly strong considering its hard-r rating. That's slightly more than the family-friendly Jack the Giant Slayer made in its disappointing debut, and a whole lot more than the $24 million A Good Day to Die...

There are no signs of Bruce Willis slowing down his macho-ness twenty-five years since first kicking bad guy butt as John McClane. John McClane has slung himself from skyscrapers, braved fires, and fallen out of just about everything, and continues to survive deadly situations as proven in a new clip from the fifth Die Hard movie.
This time the action is taken to Mother Russia for some action in the former Soviet Union. When we last saw John McClane, he was reuniting with his estranged daughter. In A Good Day To Die, it's the sons turn to shun his father. But this sibling isn't waiting around to be rescued. Looking forward to a new year of movies and attempting to come up with a list of films I'm most anticipating is never a simple proposition. In compiling this year's list of fifty there were 230 film titles I looked at, some a little more seriously than others, but nonetheless, it wasn't a small list of films. As a result, not everything could make the list. Note: I have included a navigation to browse all five lists directly below as well as at the end of this post for easy navigation. Most Anticipated 2013 Navigation #1-10 | #11-20 | #21-30 | #31-40 | #41-50 Some of the films just missing the top fifty include Zal Batmanglij's The East, Spike Jonze's Her starring Joaquin Phoenix, the horror film You're Next, which first premiered in 2011 and is finally being released this year, and Devil's Knot as the story of the West Memphis Three continues, only this...

Explosions! McClane! It's the new trailer for A Good Day To Die Hard...
If we've learned one thing from these various Die Hard 5 trailers, it's that Bruce Willis and his screen son Jai Courtney fall through a lot of glass ceilings during the course of this latest shoot-em-up adventure.
It's now 25 years since the original Die Hard, and the series has gradually mutated from claustrophobic, broiling thriller to an occasional city-wide firework display. This time, the backdrop is Russia. With estranged son Jack in tow, John McClane is forced to blow stuff up and discharge firearms in the name of democracy. It all looks like big, silly entertainment.
A Good Day To Die Hard opens on 14th February in the UK.

Earlier in the day we learned that Fox had set the latest “Die Hard” movie (part five, since titled “A Good Day to Die Hard”) for February 14, 2013. The plot, like the previous movie, would find McClane saddled with an offspring — this time a son. So who would play the bratty teenager? As it turns out, he won’t be a teenager at all, though I reserve the right to call him a brat anyways. According to the trades, names being thrown around as a possible McClane Jr. include Aaron Paul, Ben Foster, and Paul Dano. The threesome, along with others, will be meeting with Willis himself to see who has the necessary chemistry to make it work. Who knows who will end up with the cushy gig, except that it’s reassuring to know that McClane won’t be running around with one of those mouthy teenagers, especially since the...

Fox is certainly on an official release date tear today. After setting dates for “Taken 2″ and “A Good Day to Die Hard” (the fifth “Die Hard” movie), Fox has now set an official release date for “Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters” for March 26, 2013. Logan Lerman, currently swashbuckling his way into theaters in Paul W.S. Anderson’s “The Three Musketeers”, will return as the titular Percy Jackson, a human teenager who discovers he has some Greek God blood in him. In “Sea of Monsters”, also based on the Rick Riordan book, Percy must sail the Sea of Monsters to rescue his buddy Grover. “Percy Jackson” also co-stars Alexandra Daddario and Brandon T. Jackson...

Back in August we finally received confirmation that John Moore (Max Payne) would direct the fifth Die Hard film. While that news didn't generate a lot of excitement in and of itself, the fact that the movie was actually moving forward definitely gave action movie fans something to look forward to. Now this week Fox has revealed the official title for the film, and if you thought Live Free or Die Hard sounded goofy... well, just wait 'til you get a load of this. Tom Rothman, CEO of Fox Filmed Entertainment, appeared on The Jim Rome Show yesterday to make the announcement that the next Die Hard movie will be called A Good Day to Die Hard and it will hit theatres on Valentine's Day in 2013... sounds like the perfect date movie! According to /Film, Rothman also confirmed rumours about the movie being set in Russia and involving McClane's son,...

New Die Hard to be titled A Good Day to Die Hard, studio execs reportedly pleased with their own wit
Because those Hollywood fat cats ignored my extensive letter-writing campaign to have Die Hard 5 titled Die Hardest (presumably because the superlative implies that John McClane will finally die, which as we all know, would rend space-time asunder), details have emerged that the next entry in the Die Hard franchise will be titled A Good Day to Die Hard, which sounds like... I don't know. I can't even complete that simile. It's just... so stupid. Anyway, the film will see John McClane travel to Russia to rescue his son, John Jr. (Jj? Please let them refer to him as Jj the whole movie) from jail and then, I don't know, there's probably terrorists or something. There's always terrorists. McClane Jr. has yet to be cast (Fingers crossed for Taylor Lautner! Go Team Jacob!), but John Moore (Behind Enemy Lines, Max Payne) is attached to [...]...

We received a treasure trove of information yesterday about the upcoming Die Hard 5, now awkwardly titled A Good Day To Die Hard. Moreover we learned that the film will be out in early 2013, and has a plot where John McClane heads to Russia to rescue his son. So naturally, that begs the question of which actor has it in him to play the son of one of the greatest action icons of all time. Who has what it takes to take on the McClane name and become John McClane Jr. for this film? No photo...

On the heels of yesterday's title announcement, A Good Day to Die Hard is looking at casting the leading role of John McClane's son, John McClane, Jr. Variety has a potential list of talent that they say is in consideration for the part. Those names include Paul Dano, Ben Foster, Aaron Paul and Milo Ventimiglia. The article also notes that Paul Walker has been eyed by the studio but apparently isn't coming in for tests. The film, drafted by Skip Woods ( The A-Team , X-Men Origins: Wolverine ) will be directed by John Moore ( Max Payne ) and is officially described as follows: Since the first Die Hard in 1988, John McClane has found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time, with the skills and attitude to always be the last man standing, making him enemy #1 for...

Fox is going full-throttle with new installments of two of its franchises.
John McClane will officially return for his fifth very bad day, "A Good Day to Die Hard," and Percy Jackson will expand his mythology with "Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Sea of Monsters," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
"A Good Day to Die Hard," which is set to be directed by John Moore ("Max Payne"), finds McClane heading to Russia (!) when his son Jack (whom we haven't seen since he was a baby in the original "Die Hard") is caught up in the daring prison escape of a rogue Russian leader. Father and son McClane must work together to keep each other alive and keep the world safe for democracy.
The bigger surprise is "Percy Jackson" getting a sequel, as "The Lightning Thief" didn't exactly electrify the box office. However, even though it didn't make much money for the studio,...

Development on Die Hard 5, or should I say A Good Day To Die Hard (yes, that’s seriously the official title) is moving along just fine after a few bumps in the road. Deadline is now reporting that Twentieth Century Fox has set a release date for the fifth installment in the franchise of February 14th, 2013. The perfect film to take your loved one to on for Valentine’s Day I suppose. Casting for the film is also underway for the son of John McClane, but no word on who’s auditioning for that role.

The writer, Skip Woods, previously wrote Swordfish, Wolverine, and the A-Team. What do you think? Like the title? Or do you feel at this stage it should have been called Die Hard With A Pension?
