After the girls spend Thanksgiving at Jeanelle's father's, they return to school. Darcy/Barbara is then shown looking at a lecture schedule and sees Russell Polk will be giving a lecture on 9/12.
When Tracey Gold's character is driving to the airport in the beginning of the movie, she passes a huge lit-up billboard that depicts the sign of Chicago O'Hare International airport with Harold Washington as mayor. Harold Washington died in 1987; this movie is from 1996.
