The misadventures of a dumb blond egomaniac who severely overestimates his own manliness and his supposed "success" with women.

Johnny Bravo (Jeff Bennett) is a blond egomaniac who just loves pretty women. With spoofs of "Schoolhouse Rock!" (1973), "The Twilight Zone" (1959), and other television shows and movies, Johnny Bravo, along with his mother Bunny (Brenda Vaccaro) and his cute neighbor Suzy (Mae Whitman), learns more about life--the hard way.—Ian Pugh

Johnny Bravo (Jeff Bennett) is a dim-witted, narcissistic ne'er-do-well with an immaculately maintained blond pompadour hairstyle, ever-present sunglasses, chiseled body, and Elvis-like accent. Bravo spends most of his life failing miserably at womanizing and getting into trouble (usually due to the womanizing) than anything else, save perhaps for the gym. He's often helped out of scraps by his doting retiree mother Bunny (Brenda Vaccaro), and child-prodigy neighbor Suzy (Mae Whitman) whom he finds mildly annoying at best, and considers a serious cramp in his style. When it comes to women, he simply doesn't know when to quit, almost instantly falling head over heels with any attractive woman with a pulse on whom he lays eyes, chasing them relentlessly, despite repeated rejections and often being on the receiving end of a stiff blow or three from the objects of his infatuations. In fact, the only three things in life he loves are (in order) women, himself, and his mother, with the order of the first two a matter of debate.—Skippy Tiberius Podar IV
