Quebec is the only place in the world where Titanic (1997) has never been #1 at the box office, and it is due to this film. Les Boys is the only movie that grossed more than Titanic during its (Titanic's) initial release. It stayed longer in the theater than Titanic. James Cameron, in an interview with the Journal de Montréal, asked the journalist what "Les Boys" was because of its success.
