Christopher Lambert only worked on the film for about 4 days due to prior commitments which he was paid about 2 million dollars for his time according to Director Albert Pyun. Lambert had to immediately leave to shoot another film after he finished on the third day.
In the final standoff scene, both Ice-T and Christopher Lambert are doubled because it was shot after they had finished their scheduled scenes.
Christopher Lambert was paid $2 million dollars for his work on the film, though he was originally offered $2.5 million for this and another film that he was due to co-star with Tia Carrere that was also going to be directed by Albert Pyun called "Soul Catcher" which did not get made.
You can clearly see Christopher Lambert using some of his sword fighting skills from the Highlander movies when he uses the baseball bat.
The first of back to back movies for both Albert Pyun and Michael Halsey. They would work on "Postmortem" starring Charlie Sheen (then known as Charles) and shot in Ireland.
