Clube de Regatas do Flamengo is the most popular soccer team in Brazil, and consequently with the greatest number of fans (including me).
In 1981, Flamengo's soccer team won the Copa Libertadores da América and was qualified to dispute the Intercontinental Cup in the National Stadium in Tokyo. On 13 December 1981, Flamengo won the match (3 x 0) against Liverpool that was the winner of the 1980/81 European Cup. This team, led by Zico, is the best team of Flamengo history.
In 1980, David Neves had the vision of the historic moment with the climbing of Flamengo's soccer team and released "Flamengo Paixão", a wonderful tribute to the greatest Brazilian club, his fans and players. It is exciting to see this nostalgic documentary in 2011, with footages of different moments of Flamengo and interviews and homage to our greatest idols. My vote is nine.
