Good one
A very good movie with two amazing stories. Meena Kumari & Nazir Hussain were born for roles like these, they both are first rate. Dharmendra is good, so is Anita Guha. Durga Khote plays a negative role of Mrs.Ratanlal. Mehmood makes his presence feel as a Gujarati gentleman. Kalyaniji Anandji's music is good with at least two of very famous songs 1) Humsafar Mere Humsafar and 2) Tumhe Zindagi Ke Ujaale Mubarak. This movie certainly deserves a watch.

Worth watching for two songs
Movie was worth watching because of songs (two good songs), story and actors. Duet of Lata-Mukesh "Humsafar Mere Humsafar" is an evergreen hit along with a sad number (Tumhe zindagi ke ujale mubarak) by Mukesh (which should go in the all time list of memorable sad songs sung by Mukesh) has excellent music composition by Kalyanji-Anandji. Movie has a common triangular love story between Dharmendra-Meenakumari-Anita Guha, with a different end. Mehmood's comedy does not quite fit in well and could have been done away with something better. If this movie had two good numbers in place of the song shown at a charity show in the movie and the sad song shown with Nasir Hussain, then this movie would have turned at least in a semi hit. For people passionate of seeing movies because of some good songs, then it is worth watching.
