As a guest on Que História é Essa, Porchat? (2019), Cláudia Raia recalled "supernatural" events during the making of this miniseries. Since the creators did not agree on her starring, she auditioned furtively at the Globo TV studios with director Denise Saraceni's support. While on set, she reportedly saw "a figure in white". During filming, the producers made changes to the script which could not be filmed due to constant glitches, which Raia suggested being a manifestation of Nelson Rodrigues disapproving such changes. In the very last shot during the series finale, a ghostly luminescence appears in the protagonist's eye. According to Raia, no spotlights were used, nor VFX of any kind was applied on that scene.
