It was perfect as a low-life sleazy-underbelly-of-the-city-hangout. Kiefer Sutherland, Robert Pattinson, and Kristen Stewart have been spotted there.

Cal Worthington was best known for his "Cal Worthington and His Dog Spot" TV advertisements that ran daily for decades on Los Angeles television, leading to Cal becoming a pop culture icon and frequent guest on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson (1962).
