Janez Vipotnik - one the most important figures of post World War II Yugoslavia. A writer , politician and a media figure...this was done way before his death and before he took over control over the national TV of Slovenia as head president. The film is nicely shoot - very poetic and honest and intimate. He talks about his work, the war, politics, books, family life... It also shows how progressive TV Slovenia was in its production and very much unaffected by the west and still very modern though modest. Observe how it is filmed - the camera angles, lights, the flow of segments, the motion, atmosphere... I found myself enjoying these these documentary films that some people outside former Yugoslavia might find boring and dull but only because of distance and not being familiar with the portrayed character, stories,....
