This is a last Tom and Jerry franchise to be made with cel animation.
This is the first Tom and Jerry series to include Red, who was yet to appear in previous TV incarnations of Tom and Jerry under the "Seal of Good Practice" restrictions due to her risqué nature in the Tex Avery shorts she was in. This code ended in 1983.
