Halloween approaches and with it the desire to revisit some of your favorite horror movie franchise, in order, from start to finish. What better franchise to binge than “Friday the 13th,” the celebrated slasher film series that started with Sean S. Cunningham’s 1980 original before spawning sequels that would introduce iconic killer Jason Voorhees before sending him to Manhattan, outer space and back in time (Ok we made that last one up).
Ostensibly the cornerstone of the 1980s slasher film craze, “Friday the 13th” is one of the more inventive franchises, particularly when the concept was given a little more elasticity. For more than a decade, though, the franchise has been fully dormant – the last movie was 2009’s Michael Bay-produced reboot/remake “Friday the 13th.” A24 did recently announce a “Crystal Lake” series to be overseen by “Hannibal”/”Pushing Daisies” mastermind Bryan Fuller, so at least we have that to look forward to!

Many a horror franchise has been temporarily goosed by an injection of sci-fi — even the slasher at the center of the “Friday the 13th” series went into orbit in the 2001 “Jason X” — but that element doesn’t do a lot to distinguish “V/H/S/Beyond.” This seventh entry in the ersatz found-footage omnibus series should be another reliable draw for genre platform Shudder, where it begins streaming Oct. 4. And the ongoing overall enterprise continues to have value as a launching pad for up-and-coming talents. But despite its new thematic wrinkle, the five segments here feel familiar in ideas and unmemorable in execution. It’s a middling addition to a variably inspired anthology brand that will no doubt trundle on through more installments yet.

Producer/directed Sean Cunningham has admitted multiple times that, when making his seminal slasher movie "Friday the 13th," he was directly hoping to ape the success of John Carpenter's "Halloween." The latter, released in 1978, made $70 million on a tiny budget of about $350,000. Cunningham decided to up the budget of "Friday" to a whopping $550,000, and he, miraculously, achieved his goal; "Friday the 13th" made almost $60 million.
The story of "Friday the 13th," as any bloodthirsty Gen-Xer can tell you, follows a group of camp counselors who have arrived at Camp Crystal Lake in New Jersey to prepare it for the summer's coming campers. They entertain themselves by smoking weed, engaging in coitus, and telling ghost stories of the poor child -- Jason Voorhees -- who drowned in Crystal Lake a few years before, unsupervised when his counselors were distracted by their vices. "Friday the 13th" might be the best example of a flagrant copycat birthing a franchise whose place in cinema history is almost as significant as the thing it knocked off. Sidestepping the debate over what does and does not qualify as the first full-on slasher, it's generally agreed that 1978's "Halloween" set the mold for the horror sub-genre as it exists today. Blood-thirsty killing machines with penchants for pointy weaponry; horny teenagers and early 20-somethings with little to no sense of self-preservation; the unusual young woman who emerges as the "final" survivor in the battle with said monster — they're all present and accounted for in director John Carpenter and co-writer Debra Hill's spooky classic.
They can also be found in director Sean S. Cunningham and writer Victor Miller's 1980 hit "Friday the 13th," but with some major asterisks. For starters, the film that paved the way for Jason Vorhees...

Earlier this week, we learned that iconic slasher Jason Voorhees from the Friday the 13th franchise will be a playable character in Warner Bros. and Player First Games’ upcoming video game MultiVersus, a free-to-play platform fighter game that will be making its way out into the world on May 28th as “a free download for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 consoles, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One consoles, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), with full cross-play and cross-progression support.” Now Jason has gotten his own gameplay trailer, which can be seen in the embed above.
As a press release notes, this trailer show us that “Jason towers over the competition as a Tank class character with a scary moveset that incorporates his axe and machete weapons, teleporting ability to show up right behind opponents and stuff them into a sleeping bag, fatally folding a bed in half to launch enemies off the map,...

The copyright lawsuit between original Friday the 13th director / producer Sean S. Cunningham and screenwriter Victor Miller, a case that dragged on for years, finally ended with Miller being awarded the copyright to the first movie within the United States. Fans were hoping that meant the path was clear for a new Friday the 13th film to go into production soon – but that’s not happening. During an appearance at the Texas Frightmare Weekend convention, Cunningham told fans we shouldn’t expect to see a new Friday the 13th movie for at least three more years.
Back in the glory days, a.k.a. the ’80s, we were getting new Friday the 13th movie from Paramount on a yearly basis, with 1983 and 1987 being the only years without a new F13 arriving on the screen. But things changed when the ’90s arrived. We only got one new movie, from New Line Cinema,...

The “Friday the 13th” prequel series in the works at Peacock from A24 is in search of a new showrunner.
Bryan Fuller — who was announced as the show’s writer, executive producer, and showrunner when it was first ordered to series in 2022 — took to Twitter to announce that he has been fired from the show due to creative differences.
“For reasons beyond our control, A24 has elected to go a different way with the material,” he said. “We hope the final product will be something ‘Friday the 13th’ fans all over the world will enjoy.”
Trouble on the series was first reported earlier in the week by the InSneider newsletter. However, according to an individual with knowledge of the project, the series order remains in place with hopes to line up a new showrunner as soon as possible. Production had not begun on the series, nor had any casting taken place.

Not to be confused with the 1986 Gary Paulsen novel that was on your fifth-grade reading list, Adam Green's 2007 slasher "Hatchet" was intended to be an homage to the plentiful stalk-and-kill movies from the 1980s. The first "Hatchet" takes place deep in the swamps of Louisana where feckless city-dwellers get lost while taking a swamp tour. They trade stories of Victor Crowley, a local kid with facial differences who, years ago, was trapped in a burning house set ablaze by prankster teens. Crowley was accidentally killed by his father when he recklessly used a hatchet to free him from the fire. Victor's spirit is now said to haunt the swamp and murder interlopers. Of course, Victor will appear to start the predicted murders.

In Jim Isaac's goofy-ass 2002 slasher "Jason X," the immortal killer Jason Voorhees (Kane Hodder) is trapped in a cryogenic freezing tube by a potential victim named Rowan (Lexa Doig). In the year 2455, Rowan and Jason are discovered by a cadre of space travelers and thawed on board their starship. Jason, of course, immediately restarts his murder spree, not really caring that centuries have passed or that he's in space.
Late in the film, the eternally rotting Jason is enhanced and reconstructed using high-tech medical nanites. He is transformed into a super-strong armored space monster that is named in the credits as Über-Jason. Über-Jason is now even more unstoppable than before, and his potential victims have to distract their pursuer by any means necessary. Using hologram technology, the human characters re-create Camp Crystal Lake, Jason's old slashing grounds, circa 1980. To complete the illusion, the hologram comes equipped with a pair of topless,...

If there is one unwritten rule of horror movies, it's that successful ones will get sequels. When they cease to be successful, there is a more than decent chance the franchise in question will be rebooted. This is the circle of life with genre movies in Hollywood. For "Friday the 13th" and its masked killer Jason Voorhees, the franchise had remained resilient for nearly three decades without ever being rebooted. But when that reboot came in 2009, it offered a new generation of horror fans a way to become acquainted with Mr. Voorhees.

The mythology for the long-running "Friday the 13th" film series has been notoriously shabby and amorphous. At the end of Sean Cunningham's 1980 original slasher, it was revealed that Pamela Voorhees (Betsy Palmer) had witnessed her developmentally disabled son Jason drown in Crystal Lake years earlier, largely thanks to the neglect of the boy's randy, sex-distracted counselors. Pamela set about getting madness-inspired spiritual revenge by murdering any new counselors who deigned to have sex at Camp Crystal Lake. Luckily, Pamela was killed before she could commit any more murders than she already did.
In Steve Miner's "Friday the 13th Part 2," however, it was revealed that Jason (Steve Daskewisz and Warrington Gillette) was still alive, living in the woods for decades, presumably unbeknownst to his mother. But Jason, it is revealed, knew his mother was killing people and witnessed the events of the first "Friday." Why, one will immediately ask,...

This fun little video essay created by filmmaker Will Webb is a quick 5 minute watch. Created by Little White Lies, this video is titled "What Do Jason Voorhees And Kermit Have In Common?" Watch and find out! It might not be what you're expecting? Webb's essay is actually about horror franchises, and how even the sequels all follow a familiar pattern. His main focus is on the masked killer Jason Voorhees from the the Friday the 13th series, going through all of the sequels leading up to Jason Takes Manhattan (1989), Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday (1993), and Jason X (2001). He also references the Leprechaun and Hellraiser horror franchises. I wish there was more on The Muppets and Kermit's connection to Jason,...

"Pearl" star Mia Goth has some thoughts on why the Academy Awards often fail to recognize standout performances in horror films. "I think that it's very political," she told Jake Hamilton (via Twitter). "I think that it's not entirely based on the quality of a project, per se." Like many horror fans, Goth wants that to change.
Horror fans love the actors who star in such films, often becoming quite devoted to them. It's not just the ones who deserve awards, either. To understand just how important all horror film performances are, one need only take a look at the talent lineup for any given horror convention. Many people are just as happy to meet someone who was killed third in a random "Friday the 13th" sequel as they are to talk to special effects artists and directors.
Sometimes, though, actors in horror films get swapped out for various reasons.

Of all the slasher and horror movie franchises like “Scream,” “Saw,” “Evil Dead,” and “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre,” “Friday the 13th” is maybe the simplest. All those other slashers have some gimmicks to set them apart from the pack, from “Nightmare on Elm Street’s” dream killer concept to “Scream’s” self-aware subversive streak. Most entries in the “Friday the 13th” franchise, on the other hand, are platonic ideals of the slasher: there’s a masked murderer, some sexy teens, and an abandoned campsite for everyone to run around in.
That said, it took awhile for “Friday the 13th” to become what everyone thinks of when they think “Friday the 13th.” The series started in earnest with the 1980 original, a clear attempt to copy the success of John Carpenter’s “Halloween” that nonetheless proved a box office success and helped establish that the slasher genre was here to stay in popular film.

Live or die. The choice is yours. But if you reach ten sequels, shit’s probably going to get weird. This week, the Saw franchise returns with Saw X. Which means people really like to see other people tortured and I’m judging every single one of us. It also means the Saw franchise has done something quite special. Not many horror franchises make it this long. Not even Freddy himself has crossed the tenth movie finish line. Scream. Evil Dead. Child’s Play. Paranormal Activity. The Conjuring. Even when you include the spinoffs, none of them have hit ten films!
But Saw X isn’t the first horror franchise to reach that landmark. So, let’s play a game and take a look at how other franchises have fared in their milestone tenth installments…

Space: the final frontier. But instead of seeking out new life and new civilizations, the protagonists in these films are often trying to escape them. The vast, cold void of space is the perfect setting for horror. The isolation, the unknown, the realization that in space, no one can hear you scream. From derelict spaceships to alien planets, the cosmos offers a backdrop where our deepest fears can manifest far from the safety of Earth.
So, buckle up, space cadets, as we journey through the darkest corners of the universe with these ten spine-chilling space horror movies.
Screen Gems 10. Ghost of Mars (2001)
John Carpenter takes us to a Martian colony where miners unwittingly release ancient, malevolent spirits. Oops! As these spirits possess the miners, turning them into murderous zombies, a police officer (played by Natasha Henstridge) and a criminal (Ice Cube), and a whole motley crew must team up to survive.

On March 8, 1996, the fourth film in the "Hellraiser" film series, "Hellraiser: Bloodline," was released in theaters. It purported to be the final film in the series, as it would feature the death of Pinhead (Doug Bradley), the demonic sadomasochist summoned from the rough sex dimension via an elaborate magical puzzle box.
"Bloodline" took an impressively ambitious narrative tack, taking place over three time periods, several centuries removed from one another. It began in 1796 with the original maker of the puzzle box, then fast-forwarded to the present and caught up with Pinhead and a descendent of the puzzle-maker. Its third act took place in 2127 on board a space station where Pinhead would be summoned to torture astronauts.
At the time, "Hellraiser: Bloodline" was largely dismissed by audiences. It didn't get good reviews, and many looked askance at the idea of Pinhead in space. It came at a time when several horror...

Kane Hodder is Jason Voorhees.
The famed stuntman played the hockey-masked slasher from "Friday VII" -- "Jason X," as well as the characterization in the "Friday the 13th" video game. Hodder elevated Jason to a veritable horror icon, which is why it was a devastating shock when Hodder wasn't cast in "Freddy vs Jason." Hodder spoke at length about the situation during the 2017 documentary "To Hell and Back: The Kane Hodder Story," chronicling his career up until that point. Hodder had just finished "Jason X" when he was approached by someone at New Line Cinema for a lunch meeting, where he was given the script for "Freddy vs Jason" and informed that the movie was finally happening.
"I assumed at that time that meant I was doing the movie," he said. "You're giving me the script and saying 'We're finally doing this movie,' ... pretty sure thing in my mind.

Director S. Craig Zahler made his feature debut with this excellent blend of the horror and Western genres, which pits a group of men – played by Kurt Russell, Richard Jenkins, Matthew Fox, and Patrick Wilson – against a group of cave-dwelling cannibals who have taken the wife of Wilson’s character captive. With a running time of 132 minutes, Bone Tomahawk takes its time showing the men’s journey to the tribe’s cave… but when the violence breaks out, it’s worth the wait. If you can stomach the gore.

After narrowly surviving, the Carpenter sisters packed up along with friends Chad (Mason Gooding) and Mindy Meeks-Martin (Jasmin Savoy Brown) to head to New York City in Scream VI. However, they aren’t able to escape the terror of Ghostface for long.

In what is the second killer bear movie in as many weeks -- "Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey" was the other -- Elizabeth Banks' "Cocaine Bear" is a wonderfully blunt, refreshingly straightforward grindhouse horror/comedy about, well, a bear on cocaine. Based on a real-life 1985 incident of a black bear eating a $15 million stash of abandoned cocaine, Banks' film extrapolates that the bear in question went on a crazed murder spree after consuming the drugs. Not only did the bear get high, but it immediately got addicted, fiendishly tearing through the Kentucky woods looking for more bricks of cocaine that had been thrown out of a drug dealer's plane. It even thought to give some cocaine to its cubs. In real life, the bear merely died.
Perhaps a mild spoiler, but at the end of the film, the bear survives. The drug dealers who went looking for their missing cocaine were either viciously mauled,...

The "showbiz satire" movie is almost as old as the cinematic medium itself. From "Sullivan's Travels" to "The Player" and most recently "Babylon," a look at the darker, goofier, unglamorous, seedier side of moviemaking has become a perennial for Hollywood in more ways than one.
Yet most of these films utilize an exaggerated effect to make their commentary on show business that much more biting, whether it's surrealism (as in Federico Fellini's "8 1/2"), a musical (like "Singin' in the Rain"), or horror (such as "Wes Craven's New Nightmare"). It's rare for such showbiz films to not be satirized in some fashion, yet David Cronenberg's "Maps to the Stars" is just such a movie.
Of course, that depends on who you ask. Most people would see the uncomfortable and darkly hilarious "Maps to the Stars" as unequivocal satire, seeing as how it brings together an ensemble of bizarrely...

We imagine many horror fans of a certain age never thought the day would come: Friday the 13th is finally returning to the screen! (Although not the big one.) More than 13 years after we last saw Jason Voorhees creep around Camp Crystal Lake in Platinum Dunes’ soulless Friday the 13th remake (2009), the legal battles that prevented anyone else from claiming the hockey mask have apparently been settled—at least insofar as to allow Peacock to announce the upcoming Crystal Lake on the NBCUni streaming service.
With Hannibal and Pushing Daisies’ Bryan Fuller attached as showrunner, the new series is also being produced by indie tastemaker studio A24, which has become synonymous with horror in the last decade. It was likewise announced that the series will be a prequel set before the events that led to young Jason’s death by accidental drowning at the camp. Updated: Peacock has given a straight-to-series order to a “Friday the 13th” prequel currently titled “Crystal Lake,” Variety has learned.
Exact plot details are being kept under wraps, although it is described as an “expanded prequel.” The show will be written by Bryan Fuller, who is also the showrunner and an executive producer. Victor Miller, who penned the original film in the franchise, will also executive produce along with Marc Toberoff, Rob Barsamian, and A24. A24 will also serve as the studio behind the series.
“’Friday the 13th’ is one of the most iconic horror franchises in movie history and we were dying to revisit this story with our upcoming drama series ‘Crystal Lake,’” said Susan Rovner, chairman of entertainment content for NBCUniversal Television and Streaming. “We can’t wait to get to work with Bryan Fuller, a gifted, visionary creator who I’ve had the pleasure of being a longtime friend and collaborator,...

Nobody truly believes “Halloween Ends” is the actual end of the “Halloween” movies — the only thing that’s harder to kill than a slasher villain is a profitable series of movies about him. But it’s also not obviously clear where the franchise should go next. In fact, the slasher genre as a whole is at a bit of a standstill.
Franchises like “Halloween,” “Friday the 13th,” and “A Nightmare on Elm Street” spent the 1980s and ’90s building loyal fanbases by releasing a seemingly endless series of fun and gory sequels that provided annual scares while building gonzo, comic book-like mythologies for their masked killers. Then, they spent the first two decades of the 21st century squandering that goodwill with a series of remakes that attempted little more than opportunistic retreads of old story beats. These days, news of a new “Friday the 13th” or “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” elicits little more than groans.

After a fun social media post Thursday on New Line Cinema’s official account, speculation ran rampant that there would be incoming news about a future entry in the “Friday the 13th” franchise. Unfortunately, TheWrap has learned that there are no such plans (at least not right now). And, in fact, the social media post was just for fun.
To explain: Thursday, New Line Cinema’s Instagram account posted a photo of an iPhone home screen (which has now been deleted) with an incoming message from “Jason Voorhees.” The accompanying caption read: “Uh oh. What do you think Jason Voorhees wants?!” This, of course, sent the internet into a frenzy. The common refrain was that New Line must be announcing a new “Friday the 13th” project right away. But we have confirmed that this isn’t true. It was just a fun post. And quite frankly, it might not even...

As the world prepares for David Cronenberg’s return to horror with the upcoming Cannes premiere of “Crimes of the Future,” certain fans are taking the opportunity to look back at the filmmaker’s most iconic horror projects. While films like “The Fly” and “The Dead Zone” remain beloved, it’s easy to forget that Cronenberg also starred in “Jason X,” the infamous “Friday the 13th” movie that sent villain Jason Voorhees to outer space.
Screenwriter Todd Farmer recently spoke to The Av Club about the cult classic and recalled that Cronenberg first came on board because his longtime collaborator Jim Isaac did the opening sequence, which takes place inside Jason’s brain.
“That was all Jimmy. It wasn’t in the script. I’m glad he did it,” Farmer said. “And all of that wet gooeyness is because Jim Isaac was David Cronenberg’s special effects guy and Cronenberg was known for moist gore.

One of the horror movies I’m most looking forward to for the remainder of 2021 is 13 Fanboy, co-written and directed by Deborah Voorhees, one of the stars of my beloved Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning. The film, about an obsessed Friday the 13th fan who takes his love of the series too far, now has a trailer. Check it out!
"An obsessed fan stalks his favorite actors from the Friday the 13th films and beyond. As a child, Kelsie Voorhees witnesses the murder of her grandmother, Friday the 13th actress Deborah Voorhees, at the hands of a crazed fanboy. There are only two months left to go in this truly hellish year and relatively new streaming service HBO Max is trying to make the best of them. While most other streamers recover from Halloween and get prepared for Christmas, HBO Max is using November 2020 to fill out its servers.
Things are pretty light not the new original series front this month with only Industry (Nov. 9) and His Dark Materials season 2 (Nov. 16) making a splash. But the streamer has a couple of notable original films to complement them. Between the World and Me, based on the book by Ta-Nehisi Coates, arrives on Nov. 21 and Melissa McCarthy comedy Superintelligence arrives on Nov. 26. That’s not even to mention two intriguing projects that don’t have dates yet: The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Reunion Special and The Mystery of Db Cooper.

Trace Thurman and Joe Lipsett might not have initially set out to make such a big mark on the horror podcast landscape, but they’ve done it anyway. Started in January 2019, Horror Queers is the spinoff podcast to their Bloody Disgusting horror column of the same name. Each week, Joe and Trace deep dive into different horror-related films through their unique queer lens, often sifting through coded gay characters, homoerotic innuendo, or outright queerness.
Not only have they covered major franchise films like Scream, It, and Final Destination, but they also particularly specialize in covering lesser-known films like Ginger Snaps, Tragedy Girls, Phantom of the Paradise, Daughters of Darkness, and Swimfan. A cornerstone of Horror Queers’ objective is to broaden a horror fans’ palette, exposing them to different facets of horror they might have previously written off.

Director Patrick Lussier and writer Todd Farmer have re-teamed for Trick, which stars Omar Epps in the main role of Detective Mike Denver, a man obsessed with a serial killer that has remained one step ahead of him for years.
An elusive serial killer, “Trick,” returns each Halloween to kill innocent victims. Detective Mike Denver (Omar Epps) faced Trick once before, shooting him off a five-storey building. When Trick’s body disappears into the town river, everyone thinks he’s dead. Only Denver believes he’s still alive. But now, as strange occurrences disrupt the peace of the town, nobody can deny that Trick has returned. Obsessed with catching the murderer, Denver will do whatever it takes to stop Trick claiming their next victim.
Trick also stars Ellen Adair as Sheriff Lisa Jayne, the sheriff in the small town of Benton who has always considered Detective Denver as her mentor.

I’m a big fan of horror movies, comic books and pro-wrestling, and I’m not alone. There’s a cross-over there. A friend of mine in the Us also has those same loves, and he’s been busy putting his passion to work, creating a brand new comic book, working on numerous weekly podcasts and, in the past, releasing horror novellas and shorts. Richard Ewell resides in Tennessee and this independent writer and podcaster has been on a real tear of late, hosting live pro-wrestling shows, delivering top-notch podcast content on a weekly basis and releasing, along with artist Jason Wulf, Nerdy Laser & The Fighting Preceptors, a mini-comic that saw the launch of a new universe mixing pro-wrestling with 1980s cartoons. I had a chance to sit down and talk with Richard about his work, his passions in life and the future plans he has. Here it is…

Jason Voorhees? More like Jason Bore-Hees! Ha! Oh, uh, I’m sorry, Mr. Voorhees, didn’t see you there. I didn’t mean to disparage the great Friday The 13th series of horror films that had a strong run in the 1980s, following the success of seminal slasher Halloween in 1978. While F13 was an unabashed ripoff of earlier teen horrors, crazy special effects from Tom Savini made the movies stand out.

Mulroney is next up in Amazon Studios’ Homecoming alongside his My Best Friend’s Wedding star Julia Roberts.

While we each have our favorite entry in the Friday the 13th film franchise – and Kane Hodder actually has one of his own as well – I must admit that mine is Jason X. Sure, there may be the purists among you that scoff at the idea of sending Jason Voorhees into space, but I believe there’s a beauty in the absurdity of it all – and there’s also the fact that I believe it contained some of Jason’s best kills overall.
That said, I share the disappointment of those of you lamenting over how Friday the 13th: The Game can no longer create new content due to the legal mess currently plaguing the franchise as a whole. Hell, even Killer Puzzle, the mobile game, hasn’t been immune to this jazz.
Taking that into account, today’s discussion comes as being bittersweet. I say that because, while we...

Whether you’re a casual moviegoer or a full-blown horror buff, you’ve aware of the Friday The 13th films. And whenever you’re discussing the franchise’s longevity, there’s surely one debate you’ll inevitably find yourself in: “Who played Jason best?” That mostly comes down to personal preference, of course, but six of the actors responsible for bringing the slasher icon to life came together at Texas Frightmare recently and even better, they recreated their iconic looks for photo ops.
As you can see in the gallery down below, we’ve got Ken Kirzinger (Freddy Vs. Jason), Tom Morga (A New Beginning), Steve Dash (Friday the 13th Part 2), C.J. Graham (Jason Lives), Ted White (The Final Chapter) and Kane Hodder (Jason Takes Manhattan).
They were photographed in their costumes over the weekend in Grapevine, Texas at the Hyatt Regency Dfw International Airport. Each of the costumes are spot on,...

In the annals of cinema, there are just certain names that we’ve found synonymous with the horror genre such as Boris Karloff, Bela Lugosi and Vincent Price. But as time went on and the idea of sequels and franchises became the norm, one could say that the characters themselves outgrew any one performer, with the likes of Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees and Michael Myers being some of the most notable examples.
Still, it’s the ones that have done the dance more than once that are most favored by fans. In the case of the aforementioned Jason Voorhees, many gravitate toward Kane Hodder because he played the character in four films, those being the seventh through tenth entries in the Friday the 13th franchise.
Most fortunate for him, he’s found a new home in recent years in the form of the Hatchet series, playing the grotesque Victor Crowley.
