The set for the interior and exterior shots of Number 10 Downing Street was constructed in a disused underground aircraft hangar alongside Leeds-Bradford Airport, Yeadon, West Yorkshire.
Near the beginning of "Dizzy", the elderly and bent Disraeli takes the arm of his youthful and straight-backed secretary, Montagu Corry. This moment (right down to Disraeli's coat) recreates a famous "Vanity Fair" caricature of the two men, "Power and Place" (1879).
