The "Vegemite" the girls eat in the scene at school isn't the same consistency/ color of Vegemite at all. In fact, it resembles Nutella.
The jewel in the movie is called the "Kneel" diamond, a rift on the name of the singer Neil Diamond.
It is not known who played the narrator and the actor is not credited in the end credits and to this day the actor's identity remains a mystery.
Richard Carter's character's named Sidney, ironically Richard is from Sydney, Australia In real life.
