      Ghost Ship (2002), released in cinemas the year after this TV-film came out, is sometimes considered a remake of this, but it is more likely that both films are simply independent seafaring homages/ripoffs of The Shining (1980).
    • Goofs
      The ghost ship is referred to in dialog and in captions as "H.M.S. Queen of Scots", however, the HMS designation stands for "Her (or His) Majesty's Ship" and is a designation only for Naval vessels. A cruise ship may be RMS (Royal Mail Ship) or some such, but not HMS.

    Relax, have a beer, and enjoy the fun! Dont take it too seriously though.

    Great scenery, good cast, a big step up from the usual cable "Bermuda Triangle" movies. Well worth watching, though I dont expect the DVD's of this to fly off the shelves. If you missed it dont worry, its a TNT movie so it will probably be on about every Tuesday!
