In this mini-series after the novel by Flemish author Aster Berkhof (the identical Dutch title means "Good luck, professor"), brilliant but unknown art historian Peter Falke, a Rubens-expert, gets the career opportunity of a life-time when an established colleague at his university is suddenly medically unavailable to give his course at Mrs. Thompson's exclusive annual holiday academy for the very rich in a Swiss luxury hotel. Must students are spoiled brats, so their interest goes less to the courses then to Alpine fun, drinking pranks and dares- Ann Shirling, the most popular girl, makes a bet which starts a comedy of errors involving the kind but rather clumsy and society-inept Peter, who secretly falls in love with her, to the amusement of his older colleagues.
