The film Akkare Ninnoru Maran is a comedy drama directed by Gireesh. In comparison to other films of a similar nature that have been released in the same year, this film stands out due to its comprehensive narrative and the quality of its comedic elements.
Thankappan Nair is a landlord in a village. He desired for his daughter to marry a Gulf man. To achieve this goal, he purchased a bus for becoming famous in neighbour villages.
The protagonist, Achutan, is his nephew and unemployed, residing with his mother in a state of financial hardship. Achutan and his associates consistently engaged in malevolent actions against his uncle, operating in a surreptitious manner. They thwarted numerous marriage proposals for the uncle's daughter and employed their friend as a bus conductor for financial dipping.
Subsequently, Achutan came to understand that the sole means of marrying his uncle's daughter was to become a Gulf man. He feigned intentions of traveling to the Gulf and resided clandestinely in a lodge in a nearby village.
After a short time, he returned home and persuaded his uncle to marry his daughter and to register all properties in her name.
Later, the uncle became aware of the deception, although Achutan was ultimately successful in marrying his daughter.
The film's comedic elements are a significant source of entertainment value. The presence of notable actors such as Mukesh, Jagadeesh, Mala Aravindan, Shreenivasan, Innocent, and Idavela Babu contributes to the film's ability to elicit laughter. Both verbal and visual humor are effectively utilized, and the film also effectively depicts emotional scenes. Additionally, the musical number was well-executed.
