Loved it!
This film was a unique puppet and drawn animation short. It was set to music from the early 1920's (?). It was fun to watch. Very colorful. Clever Idea. I would love to see more work being shown in the main stream media like this. I think this style of work would make a great kids TV show.
Nice art style but that's about it...
The puppets and background used in this short film are THE star in "Graveyard Jamboree with Mysterious Mose". The crazy puppets are a bit like monsters and Ugly Dolls combined--really cute ones. Unfortunately, as for the rest of the film, it never really engaged me. It consists of a song about Mysterious Mose and the zombies in the cemetery all having a jam session. The problem is that the song isn't particularly good and the film gets a bit old after the newness of the animation wears off about halfway through the film. It's a nice attempt, but I'd really love to see these puppets in a more traditional story...and without the song and dance.
