After some debauchery on the streets of New Orleans featuring loud, horny men and the sight of some boobs - we get Hoyt & Frank as hosts. They do their canned spiel and then it's time for a long montage. 'Girls of Mardi Gras' is a decent Playboy title that captures it's theme, but mired by an uneven start to finish. Some scenes really deliver, some really don't.
"Masquerade Ball" has the models (Holly Guidry, Merritt Cabal, Theresa Politi) getting interviewed beforehand by the hosts and I'm glad it didn't run any longer. It's a reoccurring theme that follows throughout with candid footage of celebration. The scene itself has too much buildup with a silly story. It settles down to just focus on the women's nude beauty before wrapping up though (7.5 mins).
"Sexy Bartender" as the title would imply features the lady (Roxanne Galla) stripping on the bar. She pours water on herself plus standard poses (7.5 mins). "Fertility Dance" is three ladies (Tania Bowe, Buffy Sellers, Natasha Yi) supplying their naked bodies including close-ups (6.5 mins). "Bourbon Street" has some nice shots of the completely shaven lady (Jovanna Villette) in your standard boy/girl (7 mins).
"Kat Walk" starts off with a strip with Katalina Verdin during actual Mardi Gras. The busty lady shows her body from a balcony as a big crowd street level watch & throw beads. More naked footage of her is shown before being joined by one unidentified lady (6.5 mins). Finishing this title are two so-so girl/girl scenes. "Sculpture Garden" is Gigi Saint Blaque & Nicole Dissels in a sculpting themed fantasy (5.5 mins). "Vampire Mistress" is three ladies (Michelle Conner, Vicca Kokorina, Nikia Kaminskia) in the same loft as the previous segment posing (6 mins).
Too much of the annoying hosts & some wasted runtime lowered 'Girls of Mardi Gras' overall rating for me. The theme is fun, there's some really pretty ladies on hand and the content isn't tame. It's a decently put together Playboy title worth a view my valid nitpicks aside.
